1250mm Dynam Hawker Tempest Windy Flight
In this flight we are going to shake down the Hawker Tempest. It took a little time to get straightened out but after a few small adjustments it was smooth sailing on a windy day.

Very cool plane Bobby. That snap roll is exactly what the b 26 looked like except for the part where you saved it. Which was spectacular by the way. You made me scream with that one. BITGO ROCKS 👍👍😎✌✌

Just got one so I checked out this vid. Had lots of fun putting it together. The wing on mine had to be trimmed some to glue it together better. And squeeze the front and back cus it had a 1/8 inch gap there. But with liberal amount of glue and rubber bands and let it sit for about an hour it turned out nice. Missing some screws but had some that were close at the house. Being a newbie I'm going to have someone with more knowledge connect the wires to the box. Otherwise I did all the work it was so much fun being a model enthusiast when I was a kid. This will be my first retractable aircraft. I love warbirds have just got a t28. That took no time to put together. Thanks for the vid.

I've had one for about 5 years. Delightful plane to fly. The only drawback is the gear are LITERALLY, I mean literally, on the CG. She will nose over very easy and destroy the chin scoop. I installed some E flite retracts twisted and raked to retract flat but deploy forward of leading edge as they do on the full size plane. Now she takes off and lands so scale on just the mains. It's absolutely amazing. The plane now makes me look like a pro. I installed, a Mantas (I think) ESC from motion back in the day. Other than that all factory electronics still on board and still working.

I absolutely love mine. I did take the gear forward. I believe I got an older version so I have upgraded to a 760 kv and 80 amp control. It's amazing. One of the best Dynam airframes, right up there with the P47.

I was doing a CG setup on mine. Did you need weight in the nose? I use a 3000 battery in all my Dynam planes to get CG but this one is still tail heavy. I had a similar experience with my Dynam P-47 on maiden of second one. Was trying out the 6ch gyro for the first time. Took off and was maybe 100ft up and I could not get her to turn. Gyro kept correcting after a few attempts she was getting pretty far so I put the stick in the gauges and dove down spinning with no power. It done the same as yours and landed on the wheels perfectly. Best landing I’ve had 😳👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻😃🎄

Yea I think I may have thrown off the CG with the camera I had in it. A little more nose weight may have helped a lot.

When are we going to see those new products. Some of us already have a pocket full of cash, and I don’t think I will be buying a Draco unless it can whistle Dixie. I think I would rather buy a couple Dynam planes as a Draco.
