At 13:25 you drove across one of my three bridge projects I worked on the I-65 Lincoln Bridge in Louisville. I also worked on the I-265 East End bridge, and the U.S.421 Madison-Milton bridge over the Ohio River from Indiana to Kentucky. I don't have a date yet for construction but soon we will begin building the brand new I-69 bridge over the Ohio River from Evansville to Henderson. I worked on all the I-69 sections from Evansville north to Bloomington but for now they have I-69 crossing the river via U.S.41 and down to the Pennyrile Pkwy for which the town of Henderson is not very happy. As soon as the contract has been awarded, the new direct connect bridge which should resemble the Lincoln bridge in Louisville and the similar looking U.S.231 bridge in Owensboro which will be placed 2-miles east of Evansville-Henderson which will put the former IN-641 and the KY-Pennyrile in direct alignment which will make Henderson happy and ease congestion on the old U.S.41 bridge across the river. Since you seem to be doing a lot of trucking in the tri-state area, you must live close by. I think I saw you a couple weeks back coming south on I-69 towards Indy from Ft.Wayne as I was headed north but I didn't get a good look at truck to see if it was you or not.

Does Mercer supply your tarps as I see their Logo is on the side of the tarp? No cover-all's today? And how do you get away without wearing glasses, I can't see without mine LOL LoL, I was thinking the same thing, use enough bungee cords, LoL? Better to much than not enough however. I do that too, crank the AC up high to sleep. Even that cat curls up on my blanket to stay warm lol.

+Pete_ Hine_Of_PA I have to buy my own tarps. Mercer sell tarps in thier company store. That is why they say Mercer. Although you can buy your tarps anywhere and put yhour own name on them if you want to. I main reason I was wearing coveralls the other day is that steel tuning is real dirty. I didn't wear coveralls today because I didn't think I would get that dirty. I can see far away without my glasses I just can't see up close. Thanks for watching

I kind of figured that you had to purchase your own traps, but that answers why Mercer's name is on them, thanks... Steel can be very dirty, especially if they oil it. I worked around it most of my life. Cover-all's are nice but can be hot this time of year, I was thinking of that when you tarped. You are lucky, I can't see close up or far away, I have worn Tri-Focal lenses about 35 years now, however my lenses are not real strong, there is just 3 of them. Without glasses distance is slightly blurry, close up is obliterated lol. I keep a pair of bi -focal glasses for in the house that allow me to see close up and middle distance, but to drive and go outside I wear the trif-focal which leave me see close, middle, and distance. My driving glasses are also what I consider my going out glasses and have Jade frames.

Is that new bridge between Indiana and KY tolled yet or not, It was my understanding they was gonna toll it to help pay for it now or in he near future??? Also I was ondering if you plan on in the future either adding a 3rd axle to your trailer or what, I know that with more axles you can haul more weight and was just wondering myself. 99 degrees where I was tarping yesterday on full 3 tarp load. I took a few like several breaks. I'm hauling non tarp load today. 😂

I live in Liberty,Ky. That used to be a Oshkosh factory, that's a tight dock. I'm thinking of buying a truck and leasing on with Mercer. Is there enough freight to run 4 or 5 short runs a week right now?

Good work imo. I've done just about everything and it's one of the best. You unload so you generally aren't waiting all day for a lumper to do it. I'd definitely go back to it if I hadn't found my kind of specialized job now.
