hey guys, thanks for your awesome feedback. sure, there are some critics and we want to be clear with some points: 1) weight difference: STRENGTH WARS LEAGUE is an open league for strength athletes. by watching that battle you could come to the conclusion that the battle design is in favour of patrik. it is of course, but what if heavy dips and pull ups are in it? parcours change with every battle day and with it the preferences for athletes. remember: in soccer fields don't get smaller, in basketball hoops deeper or in sprinting distances shorter based on phyiscal advantages or disadvantages of athletes. we aim for the most complete and agile strength athlete over a long period of many challenges. 2) music: things change from time to time. for example STRENGTH WARS. we'll release 6-8 battles per month and this means that there is almost no way to have STRENGTH WARS with "license free" music without repeating over and over again. to stay clear with that point, no matter what, there will be no more music in the battles again. period. 3) HUD / stats: as far as we are able we want to respond to your wishes. full time stats will be back from episode 5 onwards. thanks for your feedback. 4) bans: we like criticism and love to respond internally and externally, but there's a limit. I wish you guys put feelers out for more 'license free' music rather than canning it altogether. I'm a record producer and work with lots of metal bands who'd love exposure on a channel such as this. There's a certain energy from having music that the battles will simply lose out on.

I am absolutetly amazed of the performance of Koray. These were all heavyexercises but lifting the sandbag this high is very challening considering Koray is quite short and as heavy as the bag itself. Really Amazin Koray!

Patrik has won every contest i've watched of him so far, which is like, 5 or 6 contests? The guy is incredible and shows that vegans can be successful with bodybuilding/power lifting. The guy is an absolute beast and very humble.

Size matters, but the 80 kg dude really tried. He lost but I like his spirit.

Dissapointed. You put a 40kg lighter athlete and don't even include some dips or other bodyweight dependant exercises... What did you expect? And put the music back!

HucaPuca Its a League and a challenge. its not one against the other but against all other athletes. So the weight difference does not really matter and everybody who signs in has the same parcour.

it's pretty fair since 120 kg is more weight added to the one they are trying to carry. Plus they're almost equally taller (Patrick being slightly shorter). So the vegan guy is actually lifting way more weight and the other and he should be at a disadvantage.

When the heavier athlete wins it shows the flaw in the system because they had a huge advantage. Regardless the weight difference is still a problem in both cases but when the lighter guy wins we celebrate the achievement.

Two things which concern me with Budensheim being up to face the Faceless is his speed might not be there an possible conditioning with the technique The Faceless has in everyone of the obstacles thrown at him. I went back and seen his last battle and that is why I am basing this opinion on. He could of improved a lot given the time, and this would make it closer for sure. Either way I'd like to see him compete again as he is undefeated too. I wonder if they will keep this commentary when The Faceless defends his title again which should be very soon.

You should seriously consider choosing the weights of the competitors based on their bodyweight. In almost every serious lifting sport (weghtlifting, powerlifting) they use the wilkis points system to determine the winner. 80 to 120 kg is a huge difference and we all know that higher bodyweight = more strength. It's just not fair. Try using metric system like squat bodyweight x2, benchpress bodyweight x 1.5. It will make the whole competition much more competitive. Just a friendly advice from a fan.

na its about who is the strongest. Strengh doesn*t scale with bodyweight. A 160 kg guy isn't twice as strong as an 80 kg guy. Its just fun to see them compete.

@@Guinea54 I believe Asel was just referring to the linear weight increase increase versus the logarithmic strength increase. Basically strength doesn't increase at the same rate as weight (hence why calisthenics and gymnastics athletes are generally lower weights; maximizing relative strength vs strongmen where it's all about the maximum strength; increasing their weight and muscle mass to the max). All that being said I definitely agree that there should be an adjusted requirement given the insane weight difference shown in this video.

I don't see the point in it tbh. What makes Strength Wars fun to watch is the awe inspiring display of strength that all of these guys have. The majority of the SW audience should be both male and lifting, so chances are that even if they would find strong women to compete, they'd still not be as strong as the average male viewer. It's like women's soccer. "It's not bad for a woman" doesn't get people to watch, "that's insane strength!!" is how people want to react. It would basically be "Less Strength Wars"
