Antenna length matters. Assuming this system uses 433mhz (or possibly even 868mhz, 915mhz), a quarterwave antenna would need to be around 6.5 inches in length to work properly. A halfwave would need to be double that. Something to keep in mind, and probably why it started working when you shortened the antenna.

I just ordered one of these earlier today, and was thinking about switching out the antennas because I hate how flimsy these look, but had no idea what to look for. Your answer will hopefully help me in my search!

I appreciate your video, its very informative, thank you. The sucking on hard candy of whatever it is while you're doing the video is annoying as hell lol.

@@pyromike3002 That's different, hope you're still smoke free. I quit cold Turkey 4 years ago after 45 years of smoking, I still crave them.

The antenna worked when u pushed it down because it was getting jumbled up with the other frequency, peoples phones, speakers etc.. so when u brought it down the case insulated and helped the signals connect

Once you program do you have to leave the batteries in or can you take them out and it was still save the program

If you haven't found your answer. Most of them come pre-programmed and the arrive without batteries so yes you can take your batteries out which is what is recommended when your modules are in storage to avoid damage if the batteries expire or corrode.

Good vid. I don’t get why people are so concerned with the chewing. Who gives a damn? Keep doing you.

Simpler to when your using 2 different rc cars, sometime when u would use a controller that didn’t come with that rc it would still work on other rc in range because they were both using the same frequency’s.

I think its cause there to close to each other my drone controller is like that if its to close it wont connect

Should have mentioned if it also does a continuity test

The system doesn’t but it’s on the individual modules.

I think you have a bad or loose connection to your antenna inside case ???

With everything turned on, nothing plugged in and assuming the modules are programed try Hitting a que and see if it works on the corresponding module and cue you hit. If it doesn't work try putting the antenna partially down instead of fully extended. That worked for me. Just keep messing with the length of the antenna

2 years later how’s it holding up?

Still works great. Just gotta keep fresh batteries in and make sure to test before using It on show

Considering when you turn on the system it's on 0 therfore 0 would be number 1

Your area name substitute should be called a group channel or just a group not a channel. A channel is 1 channel on a single receiver.
