I recently held and tried on that same green monster, and I’ve never felt metal that smooth in my life. It was like it was on the very edge of melting in my hand. What a work of art!

I think I enjoy your writing more than other hosts because it comes off as genuine without the pandering that other channels would do to win the audience. It’s nice to hear because most of us can feel what you feel and could say what you say. I have no kid to send to college, so I’ll take your word for it, Moser here I come!

Apparently John Arnold of Arnold and Son invented the tourbillion but died before putting it into a (pocket) watch. Breguet patented the regulator and gifted the first installed tourbillion (the chronometer Arnold No. 11) to Arnold’s Son in 1808. Today it sits in the British Museum in London. The two men were introduced by the Duke of Orleans, a patron and customer of Breguet. They became quick friends, held each other in high regard and their sons each apprenticed in the others shop. Thank you for your great content. Yours has quickly become one of my favorite watch channels.

Your description of the watch being “organic” is spot on. It looks very serpent-like to me. They should’ve called it the serpenti, I’m sure that names available.

There was a Grand Seiko (or King Seiko) in the 70's which had a bracelet really close to this one (even closer than the Omega lobster, if I remember correctly). EDIT: Found it. It was the 1969 Grand Seiko V.F.A. in the integrated bracelet version (I think it's called the V.F.A. 61GS, ref. 6185-8000). Years before Genta, btw. Great video! Great watch! As far as something similar on the market, to me it dates as far back as 1969 with the G.S. 6185-014 in the silver/palladium case and bracelet. True grail material. Some versions of the Enicar superquartz also had this kind of bracelet, amongst many other 70's funky timepieces. This Moser is unique and gorgeous in its own right but there has been quite a few attempts at an organic, snake-like bracelet.

yeah when they had those displays of Vanta at W&W this year in the windows, it just looked like a party trick, but thanks for showing us how truly special it is and how it truly is a perfect compliment to this red gold watch. And it does look very "old school" red gold, doesn't it? Anyway you videographed the hell out of this watch...i mean you always do, but this one was damn special. That bracelet looks even more sinuous in gold than steel to me.....

I appreciate Moser’s choice to apply hour markers to the dial here. I find it kinda odd that a whole bunch of Moser’s cooler watches are completely illegible as there are no such markings on their dials. Not that I would (or can, for that matter) purchase a $120,000 watch, but if I did, I better be able to tell the damn time.

Incredible piece. And the presentation did it justice. Nice. Me: 'It's too heavy'. Bank account: 'Phew, that was a close call' (as if). But here's the thing, I don't get it with tourbillons. Every watch with a tourbillon variation looks better without it. And they are rather expensive toys. I need to get out and flex more. I'm rubbish at it.

The inclusion of a tourbillon is definitely assailable. Gold is ostentatious as it stands without adding an obvious flex. You might as well scream your wealth from the rooftops. Class doesn't scream. The aesthetics would be significantly improved by ditching the tourbillon and adding a central seconds hand instead.
