I live in Thailand and try to buy from PRC- China because it's close and cheap. I guess it's not unusual I found a 110-220 VAC input and 12v(dc) 10 amp output for just under $5 USD delivery free. I guess this is not unusual but it sure should supply hobbyist cheaply finally. The advertisements scream 12 VOLTS. I never include the important label "DC". I guess they mean to say DC but just don't add it?? I see a lot of flaky advertisement personifications here and chaulk it off to the fact that Thai people know that when they say a little, they are covered a lot---- why do you think they smile so much!!!

Hi. I’m planning to do this but with thermostat control. Planning to use a W1219. Should I be worried about lacking of amps using 12V 10A power supply? The thermostat’s specs has a maximum of 10A output. I don’t know how many amps it requires for the thermostat alone. Because peltier and my fans are about 7A combined.
