I always felt so horrible when I worked customer service and a lovely East Indian would call and they'd hold their breath when I asked for their name. I've always really loved East Indian culture, so I've learned a lot about the meanings of names, and their importance. So they would tell me their first name, I would be lucky sometimes to know it's meaning, and if not, I'd ask, because I was genuinely interested to know. It always broke the ice, because I personally know how hard it is to have someone attempt to spell your name or pronounce your name. Mind you the last name I have, of which there are three maiden names I have (it's part of our background) is as common as Smith, and they still spell it wrong and say it wrong. I've let it go. lol But I seriously understood her whole bit. Indian names are like music, when you hear them, and know their meaning, it makes Western names seem bland by comparison.

Jesus Loves You
She is hilarious. I also laughed when I realized whomever posted this video messed up the spelling of her last name in the title.
"you know that movie where whoopie golbergs a fake a nun?" .. T-T
If they haven’t come across it, it is not happening 🤣🤣🤣

My dad when naming me wanted happiness in it, his likeable god & a tamil god. So he named me 'Anandh balaji kumar Aruchamy' Surname at the end to make it word even🤪
My full name is longer than the Polish alphabet. Fully understand . What a wonderful woman to hype you up like that ^_^
LOL! Love her African American accent and her gigs and I'm so glad to originally only have 2 letters in my last name which I had to extend with a "y" for better pronouncation living in Germany ;-).

Why does everyone keep saying this lol. That’s the accent of a 54 year old white lady from Alabama.

She's so brilliant 👏 😍 ❤️
Ahh she is grand and as I had similar name issues I like her even more xx
She reminds me of Sandiya Garg from Project Runway.
I love you Sindhu! And you look like Deepika Padukone.

She’s absolutely right , I am American myself , however it’s the uneducated people in America who react this way to names that are different, and there are plenty of those .
Omg!!! This hilarious! I totally struggle w mine which has 12 letter, most of the consonants
a.k.a. Sindhu Vee.
Too much! So sweet
The funniest thing is that the name is misspelled in the title.
She kills me. Love this 🤣.
Now I understand the "vee"
Flower woman had some really good advice.
Living in London with my surname wasn't fun either 😭🥲🤣 my name was always auto corrected to Sanitary 🚽
She is amazing
stupenda!!!
She nailed the black lady accent!
Love her 💛💛💛
I love this delightful lady
Hilarious! so talented!
She is very tactful about Americans. In my experience they have no knowledge about anything that is not American.

Dumbest shit I’ve ever heard fr. No country is as diverse as the US. That’s coming from a born and raised American of Indian Heritage....please try expanding your world view

@@tF6U 1. Diversity inside America was not her point. Her point was "Not American" 2. If you think America is the most diverse country ... you need to expand your world view. Think of a country where you move from one state to another and they each have a different language. That may be somewhat more diverse than yours.
Hilarious. Good one
My bro living in the US goes by the name Lakshminarayan Balasubramanian. Imagine the plight spelling his name every time
My name is short but they always get it wrong! If it is not a Jack, or Jenny then forget about it. But you have to love your culture!
HILARIOUS & ORIGINAL!!
So impressed by her African American English accent!!!
👏👏👏👏
You’re too good! I love your name! I grew up aboard and had the same issues with name.
so delightful
What a gem
lol I am Nepalese and I relate to her
Where was this? Who is the girl in the blue that the camera kept cutting to early in the video? 1:43 and 2:02
The video is about mispelling her name and the entire title and the banner in the video has her name wrong.
Daaamn good accent there...spot on!
Wow amazing Sindhu 👏 👏 👏 👏
With my last name Sachithanandam in USA . I really know what she mean
Oh my gosh... This is so relatable 😂 my Name is Sharmistha n I had to reduce it to Sherry 😅
Anyone else notice that her name is spelled wrong in the title?
Pitch perfect American !
Her name... is misspelled here on the video title. There's an a missing. ;-)
So they even miss spelled her name in the title apparently.Venkatanarayanan.
They left one of the a’s out of her name in the header.
... Hmm ... I actually thought her last name was Vee. lol

Or maybe, just maybe, she knew that your average white Englishman would have a hell of a time trying to pronounce “Ventkatnarayanan”; so, she decided to shorten it!
Why is Sindhu so strange in Northern India, Sindh is right up there ....
the irony that they misspelled her name in the title of the video lmao
