I’ve had dogs before, but they were more of family dogs, when I lived with my mom and sister. I now live alone and was given a beagle puppy for my bday last year. I kinda didn’t even want a dog, but I am happy to have him now lol. He is super smart. This video pretty much describes him. I would agree that they are good for first time dog owners. Super loyal dog, keeps you good company. I would recommend 10/10. He’s lucky I work from home now because of COVID

We got our latest beagle Murphy, a rescue from Virginia. Its like he's always been one of the family.

WARNING⚠️ when getting a beagle they are highly energetic atleast mine is. They can walk forever making you wonder when they will ever get warn out enough to rest lol my beagle is about 10 years old and my son can walk him for an hour or 2 before he wants to head home. They have huge personalities and love love love attention and snuggle time.

Like food??? I always said Lucky loved his lickies. As far as he was concerned, it was a waste to own a dishwasher because HE would be the dishwasher for free!

I think my Chloe could be a theraphy dog - not for human but for dogs. She already raised some my neighbor's dogs confidence and lower their wariness just by befriend with them. Those dogs used to be growled, barked, some raised hackles, some so timid and hide behind their owner if they seen another dog. Even of course its not intentional, i realized because their owners suddenly thanked me and said now their dogs could play with another dogs. Even Beagle is so playful, i think well socialized Beagle knows how to approach another dog without makes them feels threatened and this might be one of the reason why i seen Beagle becomes one of breed which chosen to be a helper dog by trainers, such as Victoria Stilwell and include on Cesar Millan's soft pack of helper dogs.

my beagle turned 6 months yesterday!

I thought I was more of a English bulldog and Brazilian mastiff lover .. until I adopted a Puggel .. I did not know how to say that for like 4 months .. and than I found out it was half beagle and half pug ( another dog I swore I would not have ? But not that I have her which I believe she is more beagle I would not change anything for the world .. I love her so so much and she has turned me into a beagle lover for sure 🥺I would have never thought ❤️

Don't mess with a Beagle when he is eating, they get very serious at eating time. Other than that beagles are the best dog in the world.

My Beagle was outstanding and lived to 17, if you get one though, you have to control their diet as they are food hoovers and when they get a scent they're off to the horizon, baying and howling, get a geotag.

Picking up a beagle in a few weeks. Extremely excited.

Well, majorly it depends on your training. Provide them enough toys and teach them to play with them instead of your furniture.

Yes ofcource you can but only if you are willing to put time training them.

A chi pensa di voler questa razza perche è bellissima, prendete un beagle dopo aver studiato bene la razza, sono particolari, sono cocciuti. ribelli. Si bloccano nella camminata spesso fanno i bisogni in casa anche se super addestrati, soffrono la solitudine e distruggono i mobili in legno. Il beagle non va bene per chi non ha pazienza e tempo (tanto ) da dedicargli, come primo cane non va bene se si è inesperti io ho fatto fatica anche se Maya è la nostra ragione di vita. Consiglio studiate bene la razza e la linea di sangue. Non è una critica al canale che trovo stupendo siete bravissimi... ma ho visto troppi beagle nei canili perché abbandonati da padroni frettolosi e delusi.. buona giornata.

Eccellente grazie! Tutto quello che scrivi è vero! Ritengo anche allevatori responsabili che non intervistano o istruiscono potenziali famiglie di beagle. Come potrebbero semplicemente "vendere" un cucciolo senza farlo, o magari semplicemente incrociare le dita?! 🤔🐶🥰

My beagle doesn’t like to cuddle. He’ll lay on the couch next to me, but not against me, if you go to pet him, he’ll turn his head to “play bite” He’s only five months old though, people have said once he gets 8 months to a year old that’ll change.

They’re also great at being scientifically tested on, am I right?

It actually depends on you. If you want a dog who a little naughty, a cuddle monster and super energetic and still small in size, go for a beagle. If you want a large breed who is cuddle friendly and obedient go for a Golden.

Beagles are super friendly and affectionate. There's hardly any aggression. However they will bite in their puppyhood. Well every puppy bite.
