@@xclent1975 Higher cc doesn't always equal a better bike, or a bike that'll fit your needs. It's great getting different bikes for different styles of riding and applications!

The Honda 350 has a good history needed an update and if it has similarities it's a compliment to Royal Endfield Perhaps before your time but the Honda XL350 was a built between 1974 and 1987 way ahead of the Himalayan

The XL350 was FAR FAR more advanced eve back then than any Himalayan has ever been...the ONLY thing the Himalayan has is some nice retro vibe looks but its a dog I would never buy personally....Id sooner find a well preserved XL350R ....the single not the previous twin of course....not sure what they called that exactly.

I was actually quite surprised that they didn't call the Speed 400 a Tiger Cub! I used to love my cub.

Nice, but Triumph really need to lower the exhaust on the Tiger GT range to give it better luggage choices. It doesn't need to be so high for a bike that's going to spend it's life on the road.

I’d love to see Triumph bring out a proper 660 adventure model

Just get a second hand T100. The build and finish of the 400s is good for the price, but nothing compared to the Bonnevilles.

Really hoping the R.E Classic 650 is really coming out .

Suzuki have such an odd line-up at the moment. Other than scooters and offroad, they have nothing in the UK between the GSX-S125 and the SV & V-Strom 650s. Everyone else has something in the 400-500cc market whether its a sport, naked, scrambler, retro, naked or some kind of mini-cruiser, but Suzuki have nothing. Also, not one 600cc inline-four and arguably, no tourers. Everyone seems to think they'll soon drop the SV650, which will leave an even bigger gap.

​@@SteveSmith-wk9dx fully agree. Apart from the 650SV, which is over two decades old, they have no 'normal' bike in the UK. An lower capacities dont exist. It's like they're pulling out of the UK without meaning to.

There’s little point in owning a high powered sports bike in U.K. these days. The road surfaces are so badly neglected that a “soft roader” makes much more sense.

I think you’re bang on with the Honda Himalayan - they’ve seen a gap in the Asian market Royal Enfield have left open

Would love to see the tiger 660 rally be price competitive with the T7, KTM 790 and transalp.

Confirmed: 2025 DRZ 550, fi with 6 speed and rumored 55hp @ 300lbs. Can't wait!!!

Ok found the render etc. was made by a bunch of design students in Japan as a project. “A groups of students developed a plausible update to the classic drz400 as an exercise in design”. That image made it online, then has been used as the base for all these rumours it seems. Really disappointing 😢

I am bracing for disappointment on the Stornello, but I really hope they bring something good. One of the main complaints about the scrambler 900 or 1200 or the desert sled is the size of the tank. A good V7 scrambler would make an amazing all rounder and have lots of range.

That RE 650 Classic is the one I'm waiting for. I'll be happy to swap my current Interceptor for that one.

I think Honda is trying to fill the gap made by the end of RE Himalayan 411 since it essentially replaced by the 450

Tiger 400 and 660 would be awesome to see as real bikes. The Honda 350 looks really nice that should be released everywhere

I'd really love to see a retro version of the Honda 750 built around the Hornet engine. Especially if it was shaped like the old 70's classic and in that beautiful gold and black colour scheme. Wow... take my money now!!!

Speed 400 with lower suspension (not cut down seat) and therefore lower seat. I can't reach the ground on the current one. I didn't even bother looking at the 400x - far too high.

Twelve exciting rumors may be accurate; not so much exciting bikes? That said, it’s nice to see a wide range of smaller, lighter, less expensive bikes hit the market - ‘bout time!

What a time to be alive as a fan of small displacement retro bikes!

Triumph should bring out a big 800 cc single, use 1 cylinder from the Rocket 3 2500 cc. That would be really unique!

At the moment I am most excited about the rumoured Tenere 900, which I notice you have noy mentioned.

I've so wanted Triumph to produce a smaller and lighter Tiger! I had the 800 for a long time and found, as I was getting longer in the tooth the harder it was to move around. I'm also a touch under 5'8" which made it tall for me (even with the low seat version). The height I could cope with, but getting into heavy traffic after a ride was always difficult. I've now got a Bonneville, which is also heavy but much more manageable for me. But I really liked the Tiger and so wanted a smaller and lighter version. I did try the 660 but it didn't change anything on the issues I had with 800. If anything, it was actually worse probably because it's the Sports version.

I've always wanted a modern small Guzzi, something akin to the V350, V500, V650s. If I wanted an Aprilia, I'd get one.

That Honda CB350-RS is the shizzil, I'm gonna have to import one to NZ because Honda NZ has lost it unless you want a quad bike.

I've wanted an RE 650 Classic ever since they launched the Interceptor. I'd like to see them keep the weight down close to 200kg, unlike the hefty Shotgun and Super Meteor.

Now the Stelvio is out MG should make a simpler 50 kilo lighter Superleggera version of the V85TT Enduro adventure bike & call it the Stornella.

Some of them do, Triumph with the 400s have those for aesthetic purposes, I believe the larger 900 and 1200s do as well. Then there's Kawasaki with Vulcan 650 or is the Moto Morini ADV, I forget.

Honda and Yamaha really should gives us a Triumph Speed 400 alternative, a classic looking bike with 300-500cc and spoked wheels, below 170kgs weight and a 780mm seat height. Instead they either try to sell alien looking bikes like the Mt-03 or weird cruisers like the Rebel 500

The Husqvarna almost feels like the old nuda 900! Bring it back with the 890 motor!!

I’m not sure its fair to accuse honda of copying a single cylinder trail bike. I think they have been building them for some time, along with Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha. Is there anything really original anymore?

Don't forget that Yamaha will most likely be digging out their tooling for the FJR1300 engine and getting that (or a slightly smaller version) ready. Let's be real, they won't stop at their mt09 engine.

... Ugh, why can't M.G make the 450 a transverse V? (Yeah yeah, price) It'd be so cool to have a little Transverse V, between 450 and 250cc.

something that annoys the hell out of me is the fact that every motorbike in the australian market is like 5k over what they should actually be so motorbikes end up being more expensive then some small cars which makes no sense at all and it makes it harder to jump on a new bike so everyone buying second hand rubbish its just stupid

If a Chinese company copied that frame design then everyone would be up in arms but apparently its exciting when Honda does it. Just a bit of food for thought...

Triumph has already said the tiger and trident will not be getting the upgraded Daytona 660 engine that way the Daytona is a bit more special in the line up

I do understand the commercial pressures involved in the remove of unprofitable bikes from manufacturers ranges but it is a sad sad day to see the death of the iconic R1…they should do a final edition in Rossy colours…

A RE Scrambler 650 would be great news! Also I would love for Triumph to give us a Scrambler 400 XE with spoked wheels. It‘s about the only thing I miss on the regular 400X.

I will be shocked if RH lets Honda get away with that.

Been expecting Triumph to make a proper mid-weight ADV with their 660 platform for well on 2 years after they came out with the Tiger Sport 660 (and shook my head when they passed on making an off-road worthy equivalent). I'm seriously in the market, and tired of waiting, so I finally decided to put a deposit on an Aprilia Toureg, and sure as sh!t, now this!!!!! But it's not too late. The Aprilia dealer doesn't open until Tuesday. My heart is on the Triumph because I owned a 955i Speed Triple for 40K miles, and miss that triple!! Should I wait for what is rumored from Triumph or get the Tuareg? Decisions. Decisions.
