12 days in Iran | 2017
In September-October 2017 two Lithuanian friends went on an adventure: almost two weeks trip to Iran. We chose quite a usual itinerary and added some stops on the way: Tehran - Qom - Kashan - Isfahan - Yazd - Meybod - Chak-Chak - Kharanaq - desert around Yazd - Shiraz - Tehran. For 12 days it was quite intense and we were constantly on the move, but it was definitely worth it!
For every traveller out there - Iran is an amazing country with glorious history, beautiful mosques and insanely welcoming and kind locals.
I am happy to share some tips or advises (what to see, where to stay, what to do, etc.)!

What! No beer?! You must get to know some local people! They'll get it for you! Ale is the closest to beer that one could legally purchase in Iran. Fermentation is stopped just before alcohol production! Sorry you couldn't taste some Cabernet Sauvignon from Chateau Sardasht. It used to be available as late as 1978. I hope you didn't have to go thirsty all of the trip. LOL!😂
