There's also Koudelka, this one fits the 'time forgot' theme, it was set in the late 19th century. The cast is a thief, a gypsy/physic, and a priest, who all end up in a haunted Monastary, the enemies are mostly general undead and mutated undead, combat's on a chess board and you can only attack based on a few chess pieces like how pawns can only attack diagonal. There's Medieval Weapons, Firearms, and Magic. Lots of clues and story bits, with full voiced cgi cut scenes, which is prolly why the game is 4 discs.

Clock Tower was one of the scariest experiences I ever had as a kid. The utter helplessness of the main characters, the feeling of dread when you'd have to hide from a relentless enemy you couldn't defeat who would follow you endlessly. Those lessons have been well learned by modern horror games, and they're still very effective. In some ways it's one of the prototypes for Alien Isolation and similar games. The Nemesis in RE3 even reminded me of Scissorman, in that nowhere seemed to be safe and he would follow you from room to room.

My memory might be rusty with Parasite Eve, but pretty sure that the parasite wasn't named "mitochondria", it just simply was a sentient mitochondria.. Mitochondria is used in it's literal meaning in the game. I think after one of the characters had a transplant of some sort, they received this mitochondria that more or less turned them into a warped being. The mitochondria that infected her body was able to control and warp the mitochondria of the cells in beings around it, causing them to either mutate, burn, or other things I can't quite remember. While vague, I think that is how it went. I was young at the time, so I don't remember the plot past the bare minimum. Also, Parasite Eve 2 is generally considered inferior to most of the people that played it. I do prefer it over the original, but it's well hated compared to the first.

@@c.galindo9639 Indeed, if you wanted something a bit different then that game would be a treat. While not as action pack as a RE game, it still had action and did puzzle solving like RE AND SILENT HILL with great eerie isolated atmosphere to top it off, while at the same time never letting the three chars you control meet up in the same room or it was game over which made it a challenge as well ( I could tell why but If are interested then I rather not ruin it for people) all in all it was a great game for the ps1 that it seems most don't know about .

@@annawanna5995 His comment has in fact real sense. Teas have EGCG, which is a component that plants have helping them producing antioxidants. That component is also found in some medicines that can treat overweight or heart issues for example, even it can help if you suffer from parkinson, because it acts as a sort of a sedative for the neurons. But the curious thing is that our mithocondrias absorb that, well it's not exactly like that, it's like the substance sticks with them and helps our organism (mostly our brain) to be quicker in reactions, take better decisions or even wake you up in combination of theine. It is said and demonstrated that tea isn't relaxing at all, but that's not completely true, because for the reason I've just explained. People usually confuses it with chamomile, which is very similar to tea and it is indeed relaxing 100%. So, or he works for a pharmaceutical company / has medical knowledge, or he just threw it away by chance. I worked a few years ago in a pharmaceutical company that held a study about green tea and the properties it has for animals, and you would be surprised of the results :)
