Loved the opening montage. You've become as good a filmmaker as you are a magician. Awesome stuff.

@aussieobserver3219 TBF, when the KZreadr doesn't credit their team, it can be hard to know they exist. I know Chris has mentioned who works with him before, but if you're new to the channel, or tend to just watch his magic videos, you might get that impression.
Ever since I've seen how the window illusion works I can't see it anymore.. I legit just see it spinning around like how it actually is.

same. same thing with the concave/convex boxes and hollow man illusions. there's subtle things you pick up easier on after knowing they are there

It still fools me every time. Maybe if I held one in my hand it would fix me

Until he puts a straw in it. Then my world shatters because it really looks like it's moving through the solid framw

Interesting! I was the opposite; it just looked like it was spinning and then he said it stops and now I can’t unsee it stopping 😆

Yeah I dont think it works as well because the spinning wasnt smooth
Imagine someone made a 30ft version of that green spinning illusion. Would be awesome.
I never get bored of that oscillating window one. Insanity.

the goat comments on the goats vid
loved this. The part you said about how some of them don't make sense until they're at a specific angle and then boom, everything lines up - reminds me of the stone puzzles in AC Valhalla; they had the same mechanism where you had to be in a specific spot, looking at the stones (with the design) at a specific angle before they all lined up and made sense. Wonderful physical 'real world' representation of that (although I guess the IRL version came first, nevertheless..) Nice switch-up from the puzzle solving.

Re7 had these shadow puzzles that were similar, where you had a light source and a nonsense object that would became a specific shape when rotated right
I’m so envious of the 3D printing, puzzles, magic, optical illusions, and the fact he loves in Canada… grrrr. So gifted.
I only saw a spinning window until you said it was supposed to look different, lol But the green spinning one definitely got me.
The illusions in the video are sooooo AWESOME and mind bending. I just love to look at illusions that trick the eye.
Chris, it’s cool watching you solve puzzles. I’m also interested to see you complete a Perplexus.
Got into 3d printing and have printed some of these illustrations, thanks for showing me many more than I had before!!!
Chris your 3D-printed puzzle box is done. I will be shipping it out in a week or so. I have a good chance you will not be able to figure it out.
The Curiosity Show! I love that channel. I just started watching them about six months ago, not being Australian myself, and that show is awesome!
Wow, what amazing illusions! I’ve loved 3D printing as a hobby for so long, but haven’t 3D printed any illusions before. I really liked the triangle of cubes one and the spinning spiral, they were awesome! I just couldn’t see the window illusion though, I don’t why but it just looked like it was spinning! 😂 Thank you so much for making this video, it has brightened my day! ☺️❤️
Love the use of the 3d printer as a record player. Never seen that before and I found myself grooving along.
Whoa... The strand puzzle is very unique.... Love the music used as well...
Super cool! I got my first 3D printer from Ebay yesterday and it will be delivered on Wednesday. Now I've been sitting all weekend looking for stuff to print and then this video comes up. Just perfect! By the way, I liked the first illusion best! greetings from Germany
Endless fun with 3D printing. I love it
Love those illusions, Esher was very clever with his illusions!!!!!
great video love these types of puzzles make the brain work
thanks for sharing! these were intense!
I'm working all day, but looking forward to watching this fully, hopefully before midnight!😅 👍👍
When you added the straw to the window, I actually blurted out "Quit going back and forth!" (SO embarrassed!)
Thanks for doing this/these. Very original video!
Awesome Chris!! No rage at all in this video. 🤣🤣🤣
I enjoyed watching this video. Thank you for sharing.
Loved the video. (The colorizing is sp good in this one btw)
aloways amazing videos! makes my day better!
I liked the cubes. Simple yet brilliant.
Only thing that limits you with a 3d printer is your imagination.. love it
Same favorite as you! Awesome video as always, thanks!
If you are just taking other people models and work and printing them to show off on video you really should link the models.
Awesome video, Chris! ❤
Love this stuff, amazing!
Great video, it took me forever to realize your shirt said cardporn 😅
Illusions are so cool. At first your eye sees it and then your brain responds with something totally different. Mind blowing Thank you for sharing. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
The arrow illusion is pretty cool!
I just love the music on this video!
Fires up his 3d printer. There goes my weekend. Lol❤
Mixing two of my favourite things together. Keep it up, Chris!❤

Illusions are so freakin cool
I love that you're into 3d printing. Just ordered my 3rd printer. Now have 2 FDM's and an SLA on the way. Gonna start putting my models on printables soon.
Holy shnikies I want that green cord spinny thing. No no, I NEED that thing.
Free STLs are the jam. Appreciated!

Were you able to download all the puzzles or just the "Hot Dang" one? That's the only one I was able to find in the link he posted
Made me remember the metal spiral that you featured in another vid that looks like its bending as it turns and folds back in on itself.
Wow! These are so great!!!
Antoine, that's superb!
These are awesome!!!
This makes my brain shiver
INSANE! ❤ Love it
Those hurt my brain but they were fun to watch!
Super. i know them allready, but in this film you make them super.
These are cool. I love a good illusion.
I'm going to buy that window illusion :) so cool
I love vero!
I wish so badly that I could see the window illusion. Always just looks like it's spinning to me. Especially when a straw is put in. then it looks even less like something else is happening.
You should do top 3D printed puzzles anyone can print
The straw added was cool😊
i like this kind of content!
6:15 it took me ages to force my mind to see what you were talking about because in my head I just keep seeing it’s spinning in one direction lol.
Definitely the cube triangle. It perfectly had my brain go yep those cubes look good... then bang shattered lol
I can kind of see how the window illusion works because it's just in how the sides of the window (the "edge" that you see when it is at an angle pointed towards you, ie. forced perspective) is added into the design. You are spinning it in one direction, but the design remains the same from your perspective, just mirrored. Just thinking about Mr. Sugihara's design, I can clearly see how to make a square hole in a circle switch in its reflection (round hole in a square)
Thanks for your video
These things are soooo weird ! could'nt pick any particular one as a favorite though, hot dang was pretty damn cool tho' nice one x
That arrow one reminds me of a quote on opinions: "there's your opinion, my opinion, and then reality."
If you reverse the effect of the first illusion (by spinning the green parts), that’s how the one pub pirate in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean “drinks” rum. The “rum” is actually a twisted rum-colored plastic rod that’s suspended in the skeleton and then rotated. The M.C.Escher stairs is what inspired the room of haunted stairways in Disney World’s Haunted Mansion. Try also looking at the “Gathering 4 Gardner” dragon illusion...
Is it possible to get links for the illusions or even a list of the illusion names so we can go find them?

Yeah he really should have linked the models used in the description.
12:51 ok this one's my absolute fav... so far! but I'm going out on a limb and saying it'd take a lot to top this, so I'm gonna say it's my fav.
just got my 2nd printer, might have to print some of these out!
If you put a dot on the green center rotating column, you should be able to see the dot move sideways as you slide the piece up and down.
7:32 my genuine reaction “…? WHAT?! Wait a minute..?!”
My favorite illusion piece was the convex cubes
That first one definitely says Dang Hot! 😂
Im pissed KZread never recommended this video, WTF!!!! This is perfect for me, Chris youtube is failing you.
I liked the harts to clubs spades and diamonds the most, it's natural for you to be interested In another form of illusion as you make a living out of a more skilful form of the same thing. Are you two printing gimmicks yet? I'm quite sure you guys could make full use of a printer if you put your heads together. I'm still amazed they can print something you could use. As usual all the best from Scotland
Interesting video that speaks clearly towards what I try and teach my kids. Your perception is your reality. It is important to try and see the other persons perspective before I make judgements as we might see clearly that what they perceive looks and feels very real for them even if the absolute truth is something else altogether. Great video!
My favorite was the arrow. They were all really cool tho
They all blew my mind, but my favorite was the hearts because it didn’t switch back. It’s just different in the mirror that’s really weird.
Maybe its because I have seen the ame's window explained, but I think the crank conflicts with the illusion. My brain sees the window starting to occilate but then notices that the crank motion hasn't changed, causing the window illusion to 'correct', meaning I see it rotating as it really is. Maybe stick a nail in the window to act as a pivot, and the nail is put through an eye. The nail head catches the eye, holding the window aloft while allowing it to spin freely
The window blows my mind the most Even after seeing how it works I can't see it work
This stuff always reminds me of the ghost town at Knott's Berry Farm and the Van Halen album LOL
6:20, the continuous rotation can be seen if you focus closely enough.
Amazing 👍🏽👍🏻👍
It's things like these that makes me really, really want a 3D printer, but I know for a fact that if I got one I'd have things to print maybe once every 5 years, so I just can't justify it :c
Minute 15:22 ESCHER !!! Bests regards from a Venezuelan follower in Panama!
Helix illusions always make me feel stupid. He explained it, put it back together, and then we still couldn't see it spin... I feel like my brain just doesn't work, lmao.
If you use a heat gun on the supports then they'll come away SUPER easy. Just make sure to not use a high temp because if you're using PLA it'll melt quick
5:00 Curiosity Show from Australia - presentor's name is Deane Hutton
Because of the shadows, we can see it rotate fully rather than only 180 degrees in the 2nd illusion.
What a bangin' intro (and song too 🤘). This was just the video to wind down on a Friday evening - cheers for sharing, Chris...really enjoyed this 🙏🤘.
You melted my cortex at 6am... Fun fact (but potentially somewhat awkward for the people who took out the Vero trademark) , Vero is also the name of a large corporate insurer in Australia.
@ChrisRamsay Please Link the Files to all the illusions. especially the Spinning Spiral one. i Searched the whole Internet and still wouldnt able to find it.

Search Printables for “portal toy”. Links aren’t coming through. I really wish he would have credited us for our creations.
If you like this then try and review the mobile game Monument. Super fun and full op these illusions 🙂
2:29 letting it spin, holding it underneath maybe. Great optical tomfoolery, Like the man/Lady figure, Could be used on signs for unisex toilets. , The number of CAD models for 3D printers always amazes me, used thingiverse with parametric gears and cogs, hindges.
There’s a free 3D printer file out there for a Tensegrity Table if anyone is interested, surprised it wasn’t included in this video.
You can see the green part turning if you stare directly at one of the ends and totally ignore the ring. Ideally you'd just block the ring from your view, cuz if you see it, illusion "activates".
Forced perspective works well on tv and on screens.
Good vid
The first illusion After the hot dang illusion actually uses the barber pole illusion
That cube looks like some matrix glitch😂
I've done the text morph a few times. Not all too difficult to model, but like you said, the supports are a PITA to remove.

Hi, quick question how do you make sure that the letters are that thick, Usually when I do them I end up with very thin letters. Thanks :D
@leemaxwell5035
Жыл бұрын
@@s_y_305 It just depends on the font and size of the model. Bold fonts will give you thicker letters. What modeling program are you using?
liked the convex cubes
