Highlights of the #12 Razorbacks 26-20 victory over the Gamecocks in 2006. Darren McFadden would rush for 219 yards, the second highest of his career, and two touchdowns to help Arkansas snap a two game skid to South Carolina. Marcus Monk would also catch eight passes for a career high 192 yards and a touchdown.

we can remember this as the day when mitch mustains career slowly came to an end. so sad, we all had so much hope for him. he could've been one of the greats

I think that is a bit unfair towards Mustain. He was a true freshmen and not many of those make the smart decisions every single play. I don't believe nutty gave him a real chance as he was bound and determined to bench him in favor of Dick (who made numerous mistakes as well but never got benched like Mustain did). I'm glad nutt is gone and will never coach the Razorbacks again.
Casey Dick was a pretty good quarterback.
Had this Arkansas team been managed by a different coach, I think they had the talent to get to the BCSNCG.

@@WARMACHINE2013 i've looked everywhere for this full game. appears to not exist. unlucky! i was at this game i guess i was about nine years old and we got on the broadcast after one of the arkansas touchdowns
Not trying to be a debbie downer, but Mitch just didn't have it in between the ears. He made some of the worst decisions I've ever seen a QB make. He just never adjusted to the level of competition around him. I wanted him to do well but sometimes things don't pan out.

canigetawoopig he was a true freshman who had been thrown into a war between Nutt and Gus.
McFadden would rush for 540 yards against" The ole ball coach" in 2 games. But it turned out Spurrier is a homer for Florida and voted for Tebow for the heisman trophy. McFadden could go 80 yards in the blink of the eye . Tebow scored all of his td's from around the 1 yard line.

As a South carolina fan I agree with this statement McFadden was a better college football player then Tebow considering the talent Tebow had around him he was a mediocre game manager at best
