Famous for Oktoberfest and German culture, Blumenau, in Santa Catarina, attracts more and more visitors in search of typical cuisine and quality beer tourism.
Founded in 1850 and located in the Itajaí Valley, Blumenau is nationally known for its Oktoberfest, for its German culture and for its “enchaimel” style architecture present in public buildings and, above all, in the famous mansions on Rua XV.
In October, the second largest “Oktoberfest” in the world takes place, after Munich, Germany. The event is held at Vila Germânica - Centro de Eventos, with performances by German folk music bands, fairs of typical products, parades and a beautiful variety of beers.
