Hey Joe. So my Stance had the click aswell, heres what i found. The rear diff was binding at a certain point on rotation, added 2 very thin spacers on the pinion shaft between housing and drive shaft. No more binding, no more click. Guess Vanquish fogot the shims..

Carbon comes with 0.2 millimeter shims exactly for this spot

The VRD Carbon Wheelbase - 322mm (12.67”) stock.

Hey Joe, both VFD of our VRD Carbons started clicking. The frequency of the clicking was exactly 1 full turn of the input shaft, so I shimmed the top gear (sitting on the input shaft) and the main gear below it, and the click was gone. Since the shimming we ran the VRDs for about 5h testing, and a fun comp last weekend, still no clicking noise 😊 … knock on wood 😅

its not a 12.3 vs 13 test its a that truck vs the other truck. an actual test would be the same trucks at different wheelbase .. like most testing is done.

322mm vs 330mm so 1/4 inch difference in these 2. All in all, good video brother

Loooooottsss to do with driver mod/ability/being able to see the line. Going from portal to straight axle is my biggest challenge as a driver haha. Is it legal to live in a tent on the exoplex... ?

Hey Joe what do you think about the factory tires on the vrd stance?

I think that rollover was also partly due to not having brass down low like the Carbon.

Check out the DSM Off-road sliders, much better than stock!

What beadlocks are you using for the bed stance? Having trouble changing mine

The big part is in gated comps,,,, 12.3 in a tight spot clear gates over the long wb.. but for free crawler run, yeah, 12.7 to 13 wheelbase is beast..

I tend to like 13in wheel base.

metal skid on long wheel-base, happier rocks.

The Traxxas trx4 High Trail is a good example of a longer chassis at 13.2 for the K10 and F150. I think the length is an advantage for the most part
