This is Yuta Takahashi deck from PT. Of course, I couldn't miss it and not try it. The first session was 7-0, then I removed one land and add one Celestus(went 6-0(1 scoop)), because running 28 lands in control deck in bo1 is pure madness(imo). Of course, the deck performed well and this is one of the best other deck I ever played in bo1. But the deck has a serious drawback - matchup against Temur Analyst. This is a nightmare. Even I find it very difficult to play against it. Therefore I think I have found not a bad solution. We just need to add one Jace and that's it. And the deck will be perfect. At some point in the game, we'll just catch them and mill them out. Jace is a super universal card. It definitely won't ruin this deck. It will also be a surprise for the opponents if they think they are playing against a pure control in some matchups. 41:56, 01:12:46 Matches vs Temur Analyst P.s. I like Takahashi decks. Yup was amazing to see it get into the finals, wish he had been able to pull off the win in final. Thanks for showcasing it for us in bo1, think I will try your suggestion to play it with 1 jace.

i mean considering its by far the most popular format they would sooner get rid of any other format regardless of how much you may personally dislike it, you can stay playing best of 3 but sideboard wars make for very boring games for the large majority of people.
