I did this effect early on in my resin journey by mistake so thank you for giving me a bit of direction so I can re-create it!

I am watching this a second time. These are all so beautiful! I do the same, plan on doing a certain technique (making pottery), and end up in a different direction. Nice Julie! I like that you get 2 designs and color schemes in 1 coaster. I think it looks more like pebbles, and it's a very pretty effect.

I love the round one with the teal and blue colours that you made with the leftovers, but I do like the gold one too and was really surprised when you turned it over. The lovely thing about the gold one is that you can call it reversible and use it either way as the puffed up blue side is gorgeous too. Thanks for sharing, I really love this technique.

This popped into my suggestions … this coaster is lovely ! I’ve never done a pouring technique, let alone this kind that shows the crackle effect. It’s gorgeous ❤️❤️

I like them a lot. I think the trick is to have the resin a bit set up so it doesn’t move about as much. Gold seems super heavy and that may be why it took over. I like them all. They look like stained glass. I love the blue ring on the gold pens.

The blue dragon scale is def my fave. I'm not into gold, but for people who are I think they will love the geode coasters. The effect is beautiful even when it's not what you were aiming for. And I love that you posted the video anyway.

I love the gold..it’s really hard to get gold that doesn’t look kitsch…but I think the blue softened them perfectly. They are very subtle.
