A brutalist masterpiece the AfE tower in Frankfurt, Germany originally made up the Bockenheim campus of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University.
Until 2013 it housed offices and department rooms for the faculty of social sciences, until the department of social sciences and education moved.
But what goes up must come down and after decades, it took just moments to level this huge 116m skyscraper to the ground.
950 kg of explosives were needed to bring the building, built in 1972, to collapse.
It was the tallest building in Europe to be blown up to date and the demolition went according to plan.

I watched live when they demolished Seattle's Kingdome (sports stadium) from the 8th floor a few blocks away on the N side of it. The plume of dust scattered for blocks. 🤣

Apparently you didn't watch the collapse of the WTC. lol The building in this video had its supports blown all at once so the entire tower comes down at the same time. The WTC collapsed from the top down floor by floor starting directly at the point of the airplane impact point. Oh... and don't forget that no detonations were heard at the initiation or during the collapse of the WTC. Demolition detonations are heard miles away. All you hear from the WTC is the sound of a building falling down. Must be those silent explosives, huh?

The New York Trade center was DEFINITELY demolished. What has happened, is that in spite of the world looking directly at what happened, you've been told "It's not an elephant, it's a dove"
