Yeah, this is not for speed, but a good basher 👍

I really liked it out of the box until the speed run test. It does come with many extras I give alot of credit for that 🔥👍💯💪

Yes, it is very cheap for the nice build quality and brushless system . I am not only satisfied with the speed and handling... maybe I will put a higher kv motor and try to fix the steering issue.

It might get advertised speed with the big tires, if you can keep it on the road. I put full aluminum upgrades on a 144001, and a 5mph crash tore a wheel off, and knocked the motor loose, I took the stuff off after that. It looks like a good build, will Wltoys parts fit?

Yes, they might refer to the bigger tires. This one looks like a solid build but for bashing only, not for speedruns. The Wltoys 144001 handles much better and more stable ... Even though it looks similar to Wltoys 144001 but the parts are completely different. Thanks for watching! 👍

do you have a cheap motor that's a bit faster to recommend? I assume the motor mount is not adjustable?

How mucv fastef do you want to go? You can get Surpasshobby 2845 size brushless motors, around 20 USD only

What is a good motor to swap while keeping the ESC??

Why do you want to change the brushless motor?

The car is a solid build. The gearing is low, set for the larger tires and off roading.

The larger tires look too big for this 1/14 scale, maybe I will use those tires for my 1/12 scale buggies

@@bosstee561 Yes, you can gain speed but IMHO they are just too big for this buggy. Usiing very big tires are not good for the diff gears.

I did not upgrade this rc buggy ... it is still in STOCK version

@@shalomramati3212 It is not worth upgrading because it has a terrible steering slop . So, I prefer to run it as stock version ( around 40 km/h) for street bashing only.

@@shalomramati3212 What improvement you want to do? Where do you run it? This rc buggy is already good "as it is" ... I think there is no need to improve it aside from reducing the steering slop. Do not expect to make it super fast because it was geared very low, which was intended for street bashing only.

Just get the new wltoys 144002.... over 40mph on 2s. And if you want more speed go 3s. Yes, I can handle it...🤠🤙🏼

I also have a Wltoys 144002 and the actual top speed on 2s is just the same as this buggy which is only 41 km/h (25 MPH) ... it is the Wltoys 144010 that can go over 40+ mph on 2s as RTR. You can also watch my other videos if you want to know the exact speed of different Wltoys rc cars. Thanks for watching! 👍

@@johnwayne666 Ok, if price is not an issue and you want to go a bit faster then the Wltoys 144010 is my first recommendation. My 144010 was able to hit 62 MPH on a 3s Lipo so it is considered very fast as RTR (Ready To Run) without any upgrades. 😃

Aluminium arms are just a terrible thing to put on an rc car.

Agree. While those adding stearing/stability should be metal or high [flat] impacting. So inbetween metal adds great stability + flat inpact areas. When i started this hobby my thought was also more metal better. As if we talk about Lego cars lmao. RC's need plastic. Shockabsorber. #1st rule: Metal transports shock(-wave(s)) further through next part(s), instead absorbing most, and [bend back], to parts that might cost more components like ESC, Motor Those should be metal. • Additional i found out, metal wheel holder in the inner wheelsside, metal is also great and transfers to hard shocks to metal stability items, which then jump out, instead transfering shock further. Realy great to end break the plastic ones, once in a while ;) While metal swingArms, will transfer *[all]* shocks to everywhere adding way to much stress to items. For Streetracing YES it adds stability and more weight to reduce risc of [lifting] a bit. But as soon you have a crash at any sort, be prepared for (several) broken/bend components. I guess most will start at the begining with this false thought RC hobby ;)
