The best and cheapest way I've come up with for traction, all the way back from when I used to ride my sport atv on the ice, I would go buy a pint container full of sheet metal screws and I would screw them into the knobbies. You could pull wheelies on the ice with this method and it only cost like 5 bucks and at the end of the season you could pull them out and save for the next year.

Hey , just landed on your channel. Great job with your presentation. Nice rig, I have a foreman and I love it . I bought it in 2012 new and it has never missed a beet. It doesn't have a receiver hitch , oh well. I do have everything but the kitchen sink on the extended back rack and she is also a bit bow light. I used to have a monster Jiffy up front to keep the wheels on the ground , replaced that with a Strikemaster elec. Anyways , Great job with the build and the videos. Thanks

Awesome setup !! I found a 2008 750 Suzuki King Quad in 2013 with 3 hours on it and have it setup just like yours. I also have the squatting issue which make s turning on ice interesting but I’m going to try the sheet metal screw idea this winter. My Otter Cottage fits perfectly in my back rack without reversing it. The Monster Box is incredible I have the rod case and bucket holder for it. Great idea on the lithium battery which also could save your butt if your starter battery fails. I had the Digger mount but switched to a Koplin because it fit my Kdrill bit better but I’ve since switched to a Lite Flite bit. I also have a windshield and heated grips which are a must have for sure. Great video I sub’s 👍

I just baught a 2020 rubicon deluxe, it doesn’t have a receiver hitch so your back rack to hold your shack wouldn’t work, what I do is I have a 6’-12’ trailer and I load that up and hook it up to my wheeler and go sometimes you get slow if you hit slush but my wheeler sits level and tows it like a dream!

I'm waiting for a good price on that Otter box,but I made storage out of old milk crates.I thought about the hitch carrier,I have the same shelter and was worried about heat from exhaust. So I just tow it with a hitch, put on hyfax and put stainless steel strips on bottom of hyfax, almost bulletproof on hard surfaces.I also have a Snowdog, can't avoid the gravel/hard surface trips to the ice.Rather have the snowdog vs snowmobile,a lot cheaper/easier to use.

Nice video, TT. would like to see more of the product line up links. Also, how you attached your Digger to the front of the machine. What rack did you buy in order to attache the Digger and how is it attached? Also, how is the Otter box attached? That Polaris has the Lock and Ride rear platform, which, IMHO, is a piece of junk. Does the Otter allow for that? Thanks!

The front rack was bought off of eBay and the digger is bolted to that. I didn't want to drill holes in the plastic box on the front. I am using the lock and ride to attach the otter box. Agree, not a great system. You could just use U bolts. I has seen guys to that instead of lock and ride.

So far, the chains have worked well but yes it will have its limits for sure. We just got more snow so will test it and maybe shoot a video. The chains actually did great in slush. We have a lot of it this year. Its the deep drifts that will be a problem for the ATV. Would love some tracks. It also makes a big difference if you are not pulling a sled. That drag really limits an ATV in bad conditions.
