And the costume is supposed to be integral to the role. The shockwaves those gauntlet produce can kill the wearer without it. That's how powerful they are. It also allows Shocker to take a punch.

I tell ya...the MCU should go with Hobgoblin. Someone saw it all. Saw everything and managed to get their hands on some of Norman's blood and equipment. By recreating the serum in Norman's blood, they can retool the outfit and become the Hobgoblin!

Nah, go original and use Ned with his magic powers making a deal with a demon to become hobgoblin. Then it can split off and form it’s own physical embodiment and try to save people as per comic book lore. Plus you can stretch that out through 3 movies as a side story to other villains.

There is a Dimitri in Far From Home, one of the SHIELD agents. I was surprised when he wasn't revealed to be the Chameleon. It did lead to a lot of "Chameleon will be a Skrull" theories, which I hate that idea... Would rather he just the face-mask tech from Winter Soldier and Black Widow.

Who has the rights to Landon anyway? Disney? Sony? Fox? He was an original character for the animated series, and has never appeared in the comics. Personally, I find him as kinda a dull mix of Senator Kelly and Two-Face, but he was okay when I was a kid.

@@omarhabrawi4156 Oh wow -- I just looked it up and you are indeed correct. He had one three-part arc in March '94 (a crossover mini with Spider-Man and Beast). Seems like his first appearance in the series was a fairly routine adaptation of that mini. TIL. It seems like the Two-Face look is unique to the show.

Aaron was brilliant in Savages, and as Quicksilver 1.0 but he's way too young for Sergei Kraven was in his 50s when he did his best work (Kravens Last Hunt) I actually thought Jeffrey Dean Morgan should have been Kravinoff in a one shot "last hunt" Im glad they gave Jason Mamoa Aquaman though, he was great in Frontier, but seems born to be aquaman

@@ComicBookGuy420 Jason should have played Lobo and William Dafoe should have played two-face because Green Goblin has shown that he has mastered double personalities and it would be a waste if William Dafoe didn't. In no way home there was times when the Green Goblin took over Norman's body and none of the characters in the movie noticed, including the audience.

Eh. Tombstone was inaccurately represented in Spectacular Spider-Man. Lonnie Lincoln doesn't hide who he is. His appearance in the Insomnia Spider-Man game was closer to how he actually is. One thing they never get right is that Tombstone can only speak in a rasping whisper. It's part of his condition. The teeth, however, are from being filed to points. Tombstone wants to be feared. Sin Eater though... honesty, I don't think he should be in the MCU, but rather an animated full length movie about the Death of Jean DeWolfe There are several Spider-Man storylines that need an animated adaptation and "The Death of Jean DeWolfe" is one of them. Others include "Kraven's Last Hunt" and "If This be my Destiny..."

My favorite Hobgoblin is the original. He took the Goblin role back to basics. No more crazed revenge schemes. Hobgoblin sought to take over the criminal underworld, just like Green Goblin did when he started...and he was way better at it.

Go original. Go with Spencer Smythe. The Spider Slayers were amazing robots that Spidey could barely beat. Particularly the fourth and fifth models which Symthe could pilot or allow it's programming take over.

He's a B-lister...if we're being generous. Not because he doesn't have the power. Here's stronger than Spider-Man and that tail is deadly...but he just doesn't use it right. First time Spidey beat him, he webbed his feet to the floor, tore of his tail and beat on him like a punching bag.

I remember when I got the first Lego marvel superheroes on my old Xbox 360 the shocker and electro shared the first level and they actually robbed an arcade where a spiderman convention was happening! You had to play as Spiderman and Howard the Duck and inevitably defeat them! I also used to mix up the shocker and electro all the time and also I used to call the shocker pineapple man 💀

The spot is awesome. Great powers and design. He should have a cooler name though. Like Portal man.

This show made me love Hobgoblin and Hydro Man!

These are some great villains. Here are 11 who are actually underrated: Vermin Jonas Harrow Carrion Spencer Smythe Shriek Black Tarantula The Rose Molten Man Man-Wolf I'll give you Swarm & The Spot. Most of this list just is not very obscure, save the last few -- Shathra is for sure a deep-cut, I just didn't really care for that whole totem story so I see her as tainted. Also, Hydro-Man sucks. The 90s show did a good job with him by making him a totally different character.

Definitely Spencer over Alister. Spencer's Spider-Slayer designs far surpassed his son's. When a Spider Slayer shows up in the comics today, it tends to be a repaired version of the Mark I model.

I think they mean Jason Macendale Hobgoblin. He was a loser. To paraphrase Kingpin, Jason is a man who, when faced with a superior opponent, proved his cowardice by running away. He then hired someone to kill his opponent, stole his costume, made some insignificant changes to his equipment and took up his identity in the hopes of stealing his reputation as well" Jason couldn't even get a sample of the serum. He tried many different ways to gain actual power, but in the end, the original Hobgoblin killed him for being an embarrassment. I respect Macendale's drive to gain super powers, but he should have stuck with the Jack O Lantern identity.

@@damianprock1650 Kingpin wanted nothing to with with Macendale's Hobgoblin. He was thoroughly unimpressed with the guy who, when faced with competition, paid someone else to get rid of it. Then stole the competition's stuff, made some minor tweaks to the equipment and stole the name. "Who are you trying to impress? Certainly not me."

I read that Zeb Wells is going to make (Or at least TRY to !)Tombstone and major threat (And villain.) again. Let’s see how this goes, but I loved those Gerry Conway Spectacular issues (He’s really only lost his luster for years.). I read that he was pretty good in the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon (Which I never saw.). He was good in the animated series (But unfortunately that does NOT hold up!).

Tombstone was only in the 90s TAS briefly, but I enjoyed seeing the character again In the comics, he was the only thing that was good about the Spiderman Clone Saga It will be interesting to see how the MCU handles Hobgoblin

Not sure about the Jackal, that would open the door for the, and forgive me for uttering it, The Clone Saga.

shockers always been my favorite.

Shockers back story leaves a lot of holes unfilled, (at least in this video) and doesn't explain how he was smart enough to create the equipment he uses. He just one day had the smarts and know how and did it, then suddenly became a successful super villain.

1.a true master of disguise here 2.of course, can't forget Richard Fisk's cell mate 3.wouldn't surprise me in the very least if Jason Macendale is the identity for the MCU's take on this guy 4.the devastation left in the wake of his gauntlets would really leave a concussion on his opponents in the worst of ways 5.you just wait til he faces the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 6.even he once turned to Spider-Man for help before he was turned into a cyborg 7.my created character would even the odds with this guy since he's actually a kind of fish 8.he and his girlfriend's last act was a noble one 9.he definitely made his quota with Hitler 10.of course, who could forget the man who duped the Punisher in his first comic book appearance? 11.who could forget someone with the powers of a spider's natural enemy?

Love the fact that Sam ramey Spider-Man gave him natural 🕸️🕸️🕸️ spinnerets in his wrist I think that was badass it also made me think of what his take on mutant abilities like X-Men and different other characters and marvel that would be wickedly weird

In the comics Otto never was Peter's mentor at all. Doc Ock was always in control that's just Spider-Man 2 and the PS4 game.

You don't class Otto as a villain? Otto made the Sinister Six. Several times, in fact. One of his plans would cure the cocaine addiction of most people by releasing a poison that only activates when cocaine is introduced to the system, making the imbiber violently ill. This poison would be release into the atmosphere, getting literally everyone. Then Otto would offer the "cure" for the poison...just mix it with the blow and they'll get high as usual. And he'd sell it at insanely high prices. Only the rich and famous will get to keep the snow going. I believe that was also the day he beat the Hulk within an inch of his life using his new adamantium arms.

@@markmagician2471 No, the PS4 game had it right. The only difference is the explosion that fused the harness to Otto's spine was responsible for the mental instability he developed.

I hate... Heroes and villain based on gadgets. The comic/cartoon/movie/tv series always FORCES said gadget to be only made, repaired, and used by one single character, when in real life any smart character could also make said device and ANYONE could just use it. For example, imagine SpiderMan or New York city, or USA, or the world taking away, studying and doing their own Chameleon belt, Electro suit, Dr Oct exo arms, Misterio hologram tech, Hobgoblin glider, etc???

Electro doesn't need a suit. Otto's arms are the result of a mutation he received when the arms were fused to his spine. His brain as been altered to connect with them, even while unattached. Mystero's tech isn't easy to master. Ask Mysterion, a guy who was sold the Mysterio identity. He had no idea what he was doing.

I think amazing Spider-Man 2 should have had hobgoblin instead of Harry Why? He doesn't have green goblins madness he's a ruthless criminal mercenary why kill Spider-Man? Good business decision.

Seriously Sony and Marvel Studios have absolutely no excuse!!! There are enough unused supervillains from Spidey’s rogue gallery that they have enough for the next MCU Spider-man trilogy as well as an Amazing Spider-man 3 and Spider-Man 4 for the Raimi films.
