    As mentioned in the video, Hinduism can fall into various categories. Historically, Hinduism has been interpreted as polytheism, animism, or henotheism. But modern interpretations of Hinduism can lead to Pantheism. Hinduism is like an open source religion where people are free to interpret it.

For example, Christianity is monotheism that use trinitarianism as the nature of its God. So, it's both monotheism (as type of belief) and trinitarianism (as type of law/nature). Hinduism is polytheism (as type of belief) and monism (as type of law/nature).

    Well all the indic religion and other asian religion can't be described or categorised as western term and philosophy. In Indic relegion every Religion is more or less influenced by each other's philosophy. Buddhism influenced by Hinduism and they started making idol aof buddha and started all pomp and ritual . Hinduism influenced by Buddhism and Jainism and started making temple and believe in non violence. Sikhissm influenced by Hinduism and they called God with name Ram , krishan, Hari. Jainism also influenced by Hinduism and started worshipping devi and other Hindu God as Concious entity. If you carefully observe hindu Jain baudh and sikh use om, onkar like religious symbols which looks very common and denotes the one god who lives in every one. So we are very influenced with each other so we can categories like western try. Indic religion have broad range of belief and faith we are not narrow minded so categoriesing us in just not practical.

    Hinduism is also monotheistic . Yes, they worship idols ( or different gods as Westerners and Muslim likes to say) but these forms are various manifestations of one supreme God who doesn't have a material form . So Hindus imagine the unimaginable supreme god as the manifestation as each of those manifestations resembles the goods of supreme and bads of the universe. ( you can deny or simply not accept any verse of Veda or Geeta since they are not perfect (not written by supreme being but monks who meditated) and still be a hindu)

    When you accept God is unimaginable then why do you imagine him as his creations? Idol is made of sand which is a God's creation just like how he created you. The sand is no way superior than you. Then according to you, you should worship yourself because you are the best creation of God. Also you don't have to imagine everything for you to believe. For example, can you imagine how your soul looks like? Does it look like an idol(no)? But you believe your soul exists. Why can't you then believe God exist without imagining him as your wish?

    Hinduism is more panentheistic than pantheistic or polytheistic since in advaita philosophy and within most schools the panentheistic concept of 'brahman' supersedes simple pantheism and polytheism. But Islam is different, Islam is for whole humanity, it is not for just a tribe or country like India and Israel based on nations and tribes. Islam shows diversity among its people. You can be black,brown,white, russian,turkish,arab,indian,pakistani anything but still you can be muslim. Arabs were pagan before Islam but Allah guided them too. Its not a shame to be revert in Islam. We dont treat reverts as an outsider unlike others. God does not made us on the basis of country or tribes.

Science is awesome, but it cannot teach us meaning of life, morality, or inherent human value. Those are all personal beliefs which cannot be determined by empirical science. Hinduism has one creator which doesn’t really play any major role, the essence is trapped inside the universe which is Brahman. In theory Hinduism is basically God the creator(Narayan) > Brahman(Vishnu,Brahma, and Shiva-Rudra) > 33 devas(Indra,Agni,Rudras etc). > Deities of omen(Lakshmi, Saraswati, Ganesh etc) There’s a heirarchy to god and there all expansions of God so each universe is like a tree, having expansions. Only the Creator and Brahman are neutral beings and are omniscient to the universe.

  • @hemantjain2387

    I wouldn't exactly call it a hierarchy much less place them in the order. Since you know in gita lord Kirhsna says amongst devas he is Indra. And also the fact that the two goddesses you have put at the bottom of this list completes the form that you have put above.

  • @Iamthebest2

    @Iamthebest2

    I am basing this of Vedas and Bhagavata purana because in it the purana it states that Vishnu has three expansions and this doesn’t contradict with the Bhagavad Gita because the three expansions are MahaVishnu/Narayana who creates the universe out his pores,this being metaphorical. Garbhodaksayi Vishnu is Brahman itself and this being is which Brahma and Shiva come from they split. Kshirodakshayi Vishnu is Vishnu we see depicted in pictures, you know the 4 arms and he is also Purusha who is described in the Vedas as creating all devtas. The verse your talking about is how Krishna is the all pervading soul that everybody has. In theory all deities are part of Krishna because they are part of Brahman including us.

    @@hemantjain2387 I get what your telling me, your saying all deities are the same. What your saying is true at the fundamental level because they are all part of Brahman which is the Universe. What I wrote was how each individual deity scales in omnipotence. Brahma for example is far greater than Kubera. You might be wondering why Krishna said that, Krishna himself is the Supreme Parabrahman and other deities can’t do that because they aren’t omnipotent meaning they aren’t all powerful. You need to realize that all other beings except for Narayana have been created. He was never born out of anything. Brahma comes from his navel, Shiva comes from Brahma, and all the devas come from his body according to the purusha sukta. In the Bhagavad Gita Krishna says when people worship other gods it’s as if he is worshiped improperly.

Buddhism doesn't recognize a God at all ( the creator). "Devas" mentioned in buddhism are supernatural beings that are usually seen as gods, but they don't have any power to control the universe or to create the universe. They represent another species that is subjected to death, karma and samsara like humans, animals and others until they realize Nibbana.

    I would like to disagree with the interpretation of Hinduism in this video as I personally believe that it is a Polymorphic-monotheistic religion as we believe in one god, Brahman, and the other gods are avatars, or morphic versions set to be different things and are part of brahman. An example I would say is that think of Brahman as a ocean and the gods as drops of water from the ocean.

I am a celtic pagan I am polytheistic and animistic but also Henotheism is not beyond the scope of my belief system though I personally don't believe in it. Also I think Henotheism is kind of being conflated with Monolatry what they are saying is more monolatry Henotheist could worship multiple Gods as long as they acknowledge a head or supreme god primarily and center their worship around that supreme god. A polytheist may believe in a higher or supreme god but not see a requirement to center their worship around it where a Henotheist would.

    @@TrickXxlJesus didn't "preach about one God". He introduced the Kingdom of God on earth, He and the Father are One. He is God. He came so that men may have life in abundance, through His death and sacrifice which reconciles us to Himself (which was the only legal solution to our seperation from God, as the earth was given to men, and is still run by men until this day), as His sacrifice abolishes the sin nature of our flesh which seperates us from God, and is activated when we surrender our lives to Him and recognize that He came, died and was resurrected for our sakes. Trinity literally means 3 in 1, which is still one. Three attributes, three persons, one God. Even in the book of Genesis God says "let us make men in OUR image". Jesus also suggests multiple times that He is God revealed in the flesh (John 8:58). No, Jesus was not a Christian. He IS the Christ. All those who follow His commands, teachings and ways are considered Christians, as they model their lives after Christ.

    I think instead of satanism he should have said occultism. It’s much broader. A lot of occultist pagan types might disagree but I believe that New age spirituality, Thelema, Wicca and satanism all center around a similar philosophy of focusing on desire. I see it as an almost Anti-Buddhists philosophy. Desire is basically seen as the most powerful force for change in the universe, focusing on your desires to the point you already believe they’re true or are destined to happen is the best way to create the best life for yourself. Ik Wiccans also greatly venerate nature but there’s still a lot of focus around desire and manifesting the reality you want.

Occultism is also older than Thelema it’s hard to say where it all started. Just any magic based religion with an emphasis on desire and outcome is occult imo. Voodoo even falls into that category.
