I don’t think a lot of people realize just how legendary it is to come back after the two consecutive injuries he had…I mean the acl and then the Achilles in back to back seasons the dedication it took just to play again and then to win the championship in his first year back…guys last season was the first time in a decade that the warriors haven’t been to the nba finals with Klay on the court…

@@bigdawgggbachi5394 Yes there were other reasons, we lacked size, Poole also forgot how to shoot, etc. But we called him game 6 Klay for a reason, we expected him to show up when it mattered most. The Warriors only win if the Splash Brothers show up, other factors don't matter.

That's what Klay wants, he idolizes Kobe, he wants to put in the work. You don't get that from getting compliments all the time. That's why I appreciate Klay.

That game 6 in OKC still gives me chills. If you pay attention, every 3 Klay made was desperately needed. i love this man beyond words he is so amazing i’m not really into celebrities or athletes but i love Klay A Thompson and i’m not ashamed to let the world know i pray klay has a terrific 2023-2024 basketball season he doesn’t get the credit he deserves ❤

A couple of points I think non Warriors fans forget, or don't even know, is that Klay had 60 with almost 3 mins left in the 3rd, then was benched for good. And Klay had 14 threes with 4-5 mins left in the 3rd, then was benched for good. At that rate he was looking at 80+ points and 20ish threes. He was simultaneously a beneficiary and victim of the Warriors dominance as far as setting crazy records.

Klay has been my favorite player since I was in 2nd grade and still is to this day, I just love how he plays and it always brings me great joy watching him (I do miss this type of Klay though :(, it’s sad about how many injuries he has had, not saying he isn’t good right now cause he still is just definitely not in his prime). Anyways, have a great day everyone.
