    kenshila The original French version is actually "Au milieu de l’hiver, j’apprenais enfin qu’il y avait en moi un été invincible." I too prefer the English version by FAR. And this is coming from a native French speaker. To me, the English version is so much more expressive, powerful and beautiful. Usually written French wins, but this time English triumphed!

    I love this book so much! Since reading the novel, there's a new little world created in my mind which consist of Jem, Scout Boo and Atticus. I love it. This book is everything. Even if you think about the history view of it. Harper Lee is a legend

    Hey I know your comment is super old but I'm bilingual as well so I wanted to help you out: In English we only use the upright question mark at the end, like "oh?" as opposed to your native Spanish "¿oh?" with a question mark at the start and end. Your English is fantastic though by the way!
