We had a couple issues with SPEED SLICK. We've not only fixed the issues, but we've made it much stronger (doubled the amount of ceramic base) and durable...we also changed the name to BOOST. We'll send you a new bottle out and if you include it in any future tests like this, we're confident it'll grab the number 1 spot. But I feel honored to be among these other great companies/coatings and to be considered one of your favorites. As a small company, there are growing pains every now and then, but we are constantly working to make our products better and better. Thank you so much for including us.

And I can appreciate a company who is constantly learning and evolving. Some companies I've worked with don't have that same humility and desire to give their customers the best they can produce even if it takes a couple tries to get it right.

@@johnp6987 Thank you. Yeah, we made the adjustment awhile back. The coating is now called BOOST. I mistakenly thought I'd already sent Chelsea a replacement bottle. If I had, the results would've been much different. I'm always formulating and testing new products. I have 14+ product formulas on the shelf right now, undergoing tests to see which, if any, will be our newest coating. Always trying to improve!

Thanks for doing this. IMO, I’ll take the product that sheets the most with the least amount of beading. That may sound confusing but I don’t want to be a slave to my car every weekend or after every rain storm because of water spots. I’d rather apply a sealant once a month than get water spots or have to dry my car after a light rain

It wasn't meguiars ceramic spray wax. It was meguiars hybrid paint coating. Very different products.

Well done! I really like the Megs hybrid paint coating. Time to order more.

It can be just a little smeary but any high spots could be wiped off as late as the next day.

Been using the TW FW on my truck for over a year, been really happy with it. But I'm planning a long term coating this fall/winter, don't know what yet.

I noticed at :33 that the Griots bottle moved already because of the slickness. Lol

I don’t know Madam Chelz, I’ve applied Undrdog Quick Detail to some customers, the come back usually in about every two months and after hittin it with Koch Chemie Active foam, the performance is way better. Similar with Griots 3 in 1, which is by far the most cost effective products here I think. I mean, you can buy 3 bottles of Griots for almost the same of a bottle of immortal, and performance looks the same. Gotta agree that Meguiars Hybrid Praint coating is the top performer here, but it’s a lite coating. I would put it against Gyeon One, Can Coat, CQuartz Lite or Tac Systems Moonlight

The Meguiar's is great value for money. Yes, it may cost twice the price of say 303, but you get longer durability so in real terms it’s a bargain

Some of these products really blur the line between coating and sealant. I've been using the Turtle Wax and Griots for a while and have definitely had to deal with streaking, especially with the Griots. Will have to give the Meguiar's coating a try -- bit more expensive, but I think given its durability it should sort of level out. Thanks for the comparison, I love this kind of content!

Considering one can is $55 but you can do at least four to six vehicles with it and the shelf life is way longer than most products because it's aerosol that right there makes it a worthwhile investment in my eyes

Their Step 1 and Step 2 Pre Soak. Normally only available in 55 gallon drums but they bottled some just for me to use in this video.

I'm so ready for companies to start marketing and selling sheeting products. As of now Apex Re-Hydra Sheet is the only one I know of. If I don't drive my car right after a moderate to light rain, It's absolutely trashed afterwards. Water spots all over the paint and all the glass destroyed.

The chemical reaction between acid and alkaline is called an exo-thermic reaction, creates heat to aid in dislodging traffic film

@@attention2detailswchelsea First of all, I love your videos! Lets go, In reality no sealant lasts more than 3 months on a daily use car. I've tested several "top brands"( CarPro, Gyeon, Koch Chemie, Gtechnic, Adam's, 303, etc) I always use neutral shampoo or with silica and do decontamination every 2 months. Even the most expensive ones like Gyeon Cancoat that have a higher concentration of "silica" don't last more than 4 months. Koch Chemie's sealant works very well during these 3 months, the protection is unparalleled, my car is pearl black (Lexus RCF), it has a clear coat of medium hardness, very easy to stain, oxidize, lose its shine. Definitely the KC product solved my problems in this regard. In fact it works and maintains a repellent layer for a considerable time. The rest is pure salesperson talk , poetry, and marketing. A big hug from BRAZIL !!!!!
