I read Leonard Sweet's book that I think was entitled " A. Cup of Coffee at The Soul Cafe". I enjoyed the book but Interestingly, I never considered him a Christian or it a Christian book. Richard Foster's book " Celebration of Discipline, on the other hand, I loved, but I never liked his chapter on prayer. I bought his book on prayer, but didn't like it. At the time, I had never heard of the emerging church. You should also know, I have commentaries by Ironsides and Wiersbe, in my library. I have Spurgeon's sermons, but they are too difficult to read. If I were to replace my Schofield study Bible, what Bible would you suggest?

Hi Sharon, I noticed your comment and that it's from five years ago - but - if you haven't found out what Bible Andy recommends it's the NASB Ryrie Study Bible. I found a perfectly like nee quality pre-owned one on Amazon. God bless you 🙏🕊️
