Pray your boss doesnt see this or youll just get extra work (without extra pay) which your coworkers should have done if they knew how to do this. And even if they do, theyre smart enough not to brag but act stupid and let you do all the work while they goof off in the breakroom, on their cellphones.

Thing to note with that add-in that you can see at approximately the 1 minute mark in the lower right corner of the add-in window, "free trial". It isn't free if you're working with even relatively small samples of data. I frequently get location files from clients with incomplete date like missing area codes. Was thinking this could be a handy way to populate missing ones. Working with a file of just 90 rows and having to take a couple swings at ai.fill and ai.ask to get the results I finally wanted, it filled about 28 rows before stating "ERROR: Free trial ended. Choose a plan to continue using functions." The "Starter" sub is $8/mo when I followed the link in the add-in.

Hi Kenji, can you run some tutorials for census data 1 and 2 which all are in the same worksheet were species code did not match census 1 and 2,,,,,, because I'm trying to make left = right and I'm manually insert-shifting cell down to make left=to right

Hello Kenji I am great fan of yours and learned lot of excel formulas by seeing your vedios now i need a help hope you would help me in our office we have a daily tracker in that we have 12 agents and works in 24/7 shifts we work on incident tickets as soon as the ticket arrives we have enter the ticket number in that sheet and change the color of the cell manually according to the time the ticket arrived for eg. if ticket came in between 8am to 9 am it will be green if it is between 9 am to 10 am then red if it is between 10 am to 11 am then purple so on so instead of changing the color manually i need a formula or a steps so based on current time when the data entered into a cell the color should change please suggest

This looks like a promising add-in, but I'd imagine it's not ready for professional use just yet. The most powerful feature is ai.table, but when it's used to generate data, any analyst is going to be spending the same amount time, if not more, verifying that the generated data is correct than they would have spent generating the table themselves with a Google search. As ai gets more reliable with time, I think this add-in will have much greater use in a professional setting. Until then, it feels like just a gimmick.

You'd definitely be better served learning how to pull xml data from a trusted website which excel can do natively without needing some third party plugin.

Try Ctrl 1 and try to change the format to date if that that does not work maybe try to custom formats

I would try to combine some date functions. Try year(), month(), day() to extract the right values (it might not be possible depending on the formatting) and then date(year, month, day) to combine back. Otherwise I would try ai.extract first and then same last steps.

I am getting an error message when I try. Does it need to be formatted exactly like this?

It's very hard to find. You have to go into one of the drop down menus, because the button is only on the ribbon if the ribbon is customized by the user. Or something like that.
