Thank you for reacting and loving Dimash, us Dears need to get the whole world to know Dimash, to get the fame he deserves. That D8 note was his back up cause 1st one didn’t come out. On drunken concubine +diva dance Dimash did another whistle note but not as high as the D8, beautiful all the same. Diva dance is the impossible song to sing for humans from fifth element, the alien song. He sings it on numerous occasions, so easily, I love the live at bastau but that doesn’t have the whistle tone

This "Gakku" festival took place in September 2017 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is said that the city center was paralyzed on the day of the concert. More than 150,000 spectators gathered in the central square of the city. Many came then only because of Dimash. Dimash performed at the end of the concert and sang 5 songs. It was evident that Dimash was relaxed on stage because the competition in China was behind him. The festival is not a competition, and Dimash was HOME, among his countrymen and DEARS. In the song "Unforgettable Day" he took a chance and sang D8. And before the D8 he was waving his microphone, but we didn't hear the sound. I think it was some ultra-sound that only animals hear, and people don't hear. It is said that Dimash sang D8 - "the whistling of the dolphin" and it was the longest sound of this high note. In the history of modern singing performance, the longest sound of this note. There are singers who take this high note, but for so long to keep it no one can. The music for this song was written by Dimash himself when he was 19 years old.

Highly likely the only vocalist on earth who can sing bass, baritone, tenor, counter tenor PLUS all sopranos.....is powerful and fully supported in ALL. The depths, tone, clarity, quality is stunning nkt to mention possesing the widest array of colours on his vocal palette. Everything he uses vocally is doubtlessly deliberately chosen to maximise projections, emotions, etc. And he can do them LIVE.....watch fancams.....autotune not plugged in....in his live performances.

Great singers sings to people's hearts.......Dimash sings to people's souls. He at least sings to my soul. Watch him singing Qaragym Ai (Kazakh) and Marigold (in his own sold out solo concert in Ukraine.....in Ukrainian to his mother who was in the audience).....then watch him performing LIVE.....AVE MARIA (just a vowel is all it takes, note this AVE MARIA is specially created for Dimash....not the version all other vocalists covered. I honestly doubt that there's any other vocalists on earth (at least currently) that can sing this particular piece in its original form LIVE with such quality and clarity.....and I mean all genders vocalists.....not just males or females nor in betweens.

He only did the D8 in this one performance, it was not planned, he missed the previous note and improvised! He would normally do a whistle note but usually a G7.

I think it's Dimash's composition entirely. Dimash showed the melody to his friend, who then asked his songwriter father Oral Baisengir to write lyrics to it. Which he did using Dimash's help/descriptions about the topic. I heard Dimash mentioned he composed the melody at 17 (?), but there is a controversial info. Anyway, the song was released 2015.

Dimash said in one of his interactions with Dears that D8 note wasn't planned that day... It isn't always there in his performances of this song.

This Kazakh man is a young living leyend: Best Singer Ever Dimash Qudaibergen.

When Dimash takes out his left in-ear, shit is about to get crazy. He needs to hear himself to hit those ridiculous high notes. In every performance, if he takes out that left in-ear, you are in for a treat! Congrats on 10k. A Canadian Dear 🦌🇨🇦💜🇰🇿 Edited to add: Dimash missed on the note before he sang that D8. You can see in the video he’s singing but no sound is happening. So he pushed harder and this is what happened🤯🤯🤯 This is why everyone wants to know what his true range is, because if he could hit that note 4 years ago, what is he hitting now?

someone went through new performances, 7 octaves 2 notes. but there is no stopping him because he continues to practice and improve. lowest growl - C1 lowest fry - G#1 lowest chest A1 highest mixed - C6 (known as soprano high C) highest head - F#6 whistle notes - D7-D8

Lots of people don't want to believe that. d. He sings a D8. Just before that, he wanted to sing a note that didn't came out, so after that he produced the D8 spontaneously. He didn't plan it before. (That was his own comment when he was asked about it) e. He wrote this song himself f. Dimash has the most humble respectful personality with high moral standards on earth g. Actually, Gakku is the name of a TV channel. And this festival is arranged by Gakku yearly. This was in Almaty. He moves his mic sideways.

I think it's a popular misinterpretation that Dimash shakes his mic to prove it's live. Sometimes he does, but mostly it is to create a staccato effect. It sounds cool and is easier to do by shaking the mic than singing it. Very practical.

The lyrics are really touching He improvise that section every time he sings this song. I love to watch people react to this song. That crazy note Always blows people out . Dimash compose this song when he was only 19 years old. The language is Kazake. About the D8 he did it a lot of times,there are a video on youtube.😁❤🇧🇷

I don't think he shakes the mic because of that. In most cases it's just his way to use the mic to get certain sounds, like staccato. It's easier to do by shaking a mic than singing actual staccato notes. Sounds equally cool though.

The supposedly note is D7, which is also whistle note but not that high. Seems like he sang it higher after the first attempt failed, giving this performance the only one with the highest whistle note ever sung by any singers.

This "Gakku" festival took place in September 2017 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is said that the city center was paralyzed on the day of the concert. More than 150,000 spectators gathered in the central square of the city. Many came then only because of Dimash. Dimash performed at the end of the concert and sang 5 songs. Он в песне «Незабываемый день» рискнул и спел D8. А до D8 он махал микрофоном, но мы звука не слышали. Подозреваю, что это был какой-нибудь ультра-звук, который слышат только животные, а люди - нет. Говорят, что D8 - «свист дельфина», которое спел Димаш, в истории современного певческого исполнения самое длинное звучание этой ноты. Есть певцы, которые берут эту высокую ноту, но так долго держать её ни у кого не получается. Музыку к этой песне написал сам Димаш, когда ему было 19 лет.

Thank you very much for a very good explanation. I've been his great fan for a little more than 5 years since 2017. His existence means a lot to me. I genuinely admire everything about him, his talent, voice, personality, humbleness, smiles and laughters. He's such an adorable human being, and I think I'm lucky to be able to encounter him in my lifetime.

There were 150,000 people at this concert. Dimash gave the proceeds to charity. Dimash wrote this song as a teenager about ann "unforgettable day" He saw a girl in a crowd and it was love at first sight. Sadly, he never got to meet her. It was his "unforgettable day" the song is in his native tongue of Kazak. This was performed in front of his hometown fans in Kazakhstan.

After he hit the D8 note, somebody from the crowd whistled (obviously on their fingers), if u noticed.... And it sounded exactly the same 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭 btw, this was the only case he hit this note in this song, usually he goes for a lower whistle in the 7th octave..... 🤪

The note is a D8 and is confirmed by computers. Dimash said "hitting it was an accident". When he began moving the mic the last time you can notice nothing came out. He said his voice failed him and he had to adjust to find a note he could hit and that note ended up being the D8. So his voice is so trained he can hit a D8 though it is accidental. Now, with his new song "STRANGER" he has developed his bass voice and hit a B2. They announced a couple of weeks ago that his range is now 7 octaves 2 notes.
