Can you imagine Dimash throwing this prayerful cry out to a packed stadium of 36000 people, with 3 massive screens ( the centre one beings 16 storeys high ), and him ending the song completely spent, on his knees? This is what happened 5 days ago here in Almaty, Kazakhstan. I haven't recovered. I have never in my life heard anything so beautiful, so powerful. People around me were crying. It will stay with me forever.

The way I understand this video is that the little girl became Dimash's wife. His friend became the enemy. Dimash's daughter got separated from her mom and got killed. Dimash kills his friend and then gets killed. At the end all the killed people walk to the light, leaded by Dimash, all together, it doesn't matter their religion, their nationality, their believes.. we are all under the same sky.

But the child’s birth to me is symbolizing the innocence of hope, and the promise of a better future is born again.

The woman giving birth is Dimash’s wife (the girl in his childhood), the girl who was killed was his daughter. The Dictator is the boy Dimash saved when they were children. i believe Dimash at the end is Dimash’s son that was born.

I saw a clip at the end of this song during concert I got so excited because I never heard him sound a heavy metal style of singing , I didn’t know that it’s the part of this The story of one sky song. So I wanted to watch it right away when it came out , well it took me a day and a half to finish it I keep pausing, it’s giving me so much different emotions. This is Dimash masterpiece,, the MV is deep I saw reactor’s in hurry to view it for views so far Fable reactor is for me who is on point explaining what’s going on. Dimash expresses himself well , his pain of what’s going on in the world, he is just using his voice to send that message. He have millions of listeners now, can you imagine those millions of people making a difference one at a time? I really had a moment after finally watch the whole thing, we can change our future only if we make good choices. Good conquers evil.

This is subtitled "Requiem” but it is also a vision and a call to action. Dimash is steeped in sacred music and has a deep understanding of the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as Kazakh shamanism. It is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I only touch on some of what struck me in the symbolism. The music is a dissertation all by itself. The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. In the MV, the child who later becomes the military commander never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, the boy, gives his friend the pendant, the camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl. Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral compass. (Thank you, Snarky Tart for that information). Later, we see a version of the gnomon, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through, as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers. Contemporary music is also present: With the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must act and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way. The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment, we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war. The Piper's call is seductive as it promises redress for our grievances, control over our circumstances, and power over those who thwarted us, and this appeals to our wounded ego. However, let's remember that the Piper is a symbolic figure of Death from the Middle Ages, often used as a metaphor for trusting and following charismatic but dangerous and malevolent leaders to certain death. Even if we resist, as the adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against? The burning sign "Waldenberg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht to end the war in April 1945. As a native German, I have seen the aftermath of war as I was born a few years later when much of Germany was still in rubble. Waldenburg is only 28 miles from my hometown and was completely destroyed as you can see from the picture. Many of the dead in those bombed out buildings were women and children. The fog of war obscures the light. When he is killed after exacting retribution, he is dropped back into the "sacred womb" of Earth, the ocean of love and mercy, and is cleansed of the old hatreds and grievances that only bring more death and suffering. He breaks the wheel of endless war and suffering by choosing life. Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. Soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby. The blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.” Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, and spiritual orientations are very different from one another. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect. Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. I think we are all wrong. Dimash is not the best singer in the world. He is more than that. He is an instrument to send a message and he uses his voice to deliver it. That´s why it doesn´t matter in what language he is singing: the message is delivered. And it doesn´t matter if he isn´t even using words, just sounds: the message is still delivered. The message is there. And the message is: "we have passed the moment of ´Imagine´" as the lyrics says. It is up to us to understand it and make it work.

Этот фильм очень дорогой не только с точки зрения материальных затрат, а больше дорог, думаю, для сердца Димаша. Он его вынашивал три года, написал к нему музыку и сценарий и озвучил своим уникальным голосом, отдав все эмоции - гнев, любовь, протест, мольбу, молитву о мире! Это не просто музыкальный фильм, а обращение к миру о мире! И в конце все же есть свет и дитя Димаша ведёт к этому свету! А представляете, как это прозвучало на стадионе?! на стадионе это было невероятно. в фанзоне звук проходил через все тело. сказать, что я была в шоке - ничего не сказать. я была на концерте в Астане- это было прекрасно, но в Алматы было чудо.

I believe the pregnant woman and child were Dimash’s wife & child and he assumed that his wife was also killied (when he found his little girl deceased). The new baby was his (born to his wife) and the baby grew up to look like Dimash and lead people to peace and light. ❤

Спасибо за реакцию, конечно я несколько раз пересмотрела этот шедевр, а только потом смотрю реакции других людей, чтоб еще и еще пережить, почувствовать то, что я не могу назвать клипом, песней или как еще. Это шедевр, это мощнейший посыл, вызов человечеству, чтоб люди наконец то задумались. Как коротка наша жизнь, стоит ли ее тратить на войны, угнетение, парабощение, ведь все мы люди, разных наций, разных поколений, но мы все живем под одним солнцем, под одним небом. Мы выбираем мир!!! Всем здоровья, мира и добра.

Вы правильно заметили, что Димаш здесь использует все те же арабские напевы, как и в песне "Грешная страсть". У мусульман так принято отпевать усопших. И этот фильм не зря имеет название Реквием. Это означает богослужение, панихида, отпевание по всем умершим, и в данном случае по погибшим в войнах. В песне "Грешная страсть" Димаш сделал такие же напевы в честь умершего автора этой песни, который был вокалистом группы "А-студио" и исполнял ее. Димаш сделал свой кавер на нее, но Вы можете посмотреть ее оригинал.

Quick note : the woman is Dimash`s wife, the little girl that dies is their first child. Dimash here is part of a sort of resistance against a bad leader. The bad leader is the third child from the past that saved Dimash from drowning when they were kids. The child born underground is Dimash`s second child, that survives and keeps walking on the path of kindness with the pilgrims of all faiths in the last frame of the video. The phrase spoken in growl is in kazakh, and the words I believe they are : "Adam kerve omir şol" - "The life of Man (Adam) is like this" (behold the life of Man ; such is Man`s life ; full of pain ; this is what man is capable of, making his life full of pain, with no winners and losers ; everybody loses when love is gone and we turn to war) And no, they are not portraying him as Jesus :) Dimash at the end is playing his son, a young son that chooses the path of peace and kindness, continuing the journey of his father, who died in the struggles of a loss-loss war, but that was also a kind-hearted human. El hombre al final del video es el bb hijo de dimash y su esposa ( la mujer dando a luz) tb tuvieron una hija que es la pequeña que muere, el crece como un huerfano de la guerra, ya que su madre tb muere en el parto, para ser un mensajero de paz....los 3 niños amigos al final mueren casi al mismo tiempo separados por todo este conflicto...en la guerra nadie resulta ganador....3 años tardó Dimash en escribir y producir esta obra maravillosa ( incluido el guion del video que es completamente su creación) .Dimash nos entrega un enorme mensaje de paz transformado en una Obra Maestra .... que afortunados somos de disfrutar de toda su genialidad.

Не перестаю восхищаться мудростью и сердечностью Димаша, который сотворил этот шедевр, по сути своей молитву за всё человечество. Призыв к всеобщему миру на планете, к прекращению конфликтов и недопонимания между людьми разных национальностей. И всё это через мощнейший вокал Димаша, плач и мольбу, чтобы люди услышали и смогли понять и принять его посыл! Это почти физическая боль, которую начинаешь испытывать при просмотре этого видео, а эмоции просто зашкаливают. Ты полностью погружаешься в происходящее, не в силах оторвать свой взгляд от экрана, понимая, насколько глубокий смысл скрыт в этом видео послании. К сожалению, не все смогут оценить этот призыв от Димаша, часть людей живёт во мраке собственной души и не способны прозреть в ближайшее время, а многие вообще утратили такие качества, как чуткость и сострадание. Ведь люди, имеющие в себе доброту и человечность, будут тянуться к свету и любви, которые излучает собой Димаш, ну а те, кто обделён этими качествами, будут продолжать жить во тьме, принося с собою в этот мир лишь негатив, подпитываясь отрицательными эмоциями, ведущими к разрушению собственной личности. У таких людей любое проявление доброты или милосердия со стороны других людей вызывает практически болезненные ощущения, острое неприятие и желание сделать что то плохое в ответ. Это как добро и зло, они всегда рядом, также как свет и тьма. В этом сущность самого человека и ничего с этим не поделаешь. Все мы рождаемся хорошими и добрыми, но каждый в итоге выбирает свой путь, каким ему быть в этой жизни. Одни, несмотря на сложные жизненные обстоятельства, будут всегда стремиться к свету и добру, другие, даже в условиях комфортной жизни, могут выбрать путь тьмы и разрушения. Но всегда остаётся Надежда, что этот мир изменится к лучшему, а для этого каждый человек должен вначале изменить себя. Ведь в каждом из нас есть и хорошее, и плохое, и каждый человек должен прежде всего захотеть стремиться к свету, наконец проснуться и взглянуть на мир другими глазами, через призму доброты и любви к ближнему. I watched it as you recommended, and I'm back to watch your reaction. He is certainly a showman and has produced an masterfully crafted work of art.

Watch a fan cam from his concert last weekend. He performs this on the stage. The fan cams are just the last couple of minutes. You have to watch him perform the singing under water. It’s heart wrenching. It’s a must to watch. You will see a very different Dimash. Great reaction. That was Dimash’s son at the end.

I am a gentleman and a musician at heart who have just turned 67 two weeks ago and have been watching so many people reacting to this song but your commentary really got to me and has caused tears flowing down my cheeks. You are absolutely right in saying that this is a masterpiece and that Dimash is a legend...things I have said many times. However, you are the first who is with me in me saying that the placing of every single note that is sung and it is to be executed is put there or done with a specific intent. That, together with his hand movements, the pauses and/or moments of silence,dow to his facial expression or anything he does whilst performing. All of that form the mark of a true master. He may have worked on this production over a span of three years but I'm sure that the seed was laid long before. Now, if you haven't watched "War and Peace" then please do. I listened to your reaction (and which I like very much) to TINA S my favourite and personal best guitarist ever. So I have finally decided to subscribe to your channel. Great stuff.

I’m crying every time. Did you notice that people walking through desert and storm was of different religions and different ethnicity? I believe that even out of bad environment/ circumstances can be born new and pure Life and maybe Wisdom? In the plot the guy who leads and unites all ethnicities and religions, is that baby (son of Dimashe’s character).

Dimash deserves an award for this. Unfortunately, I doubt if the award-giving bodies will be allowed to give him one by those leaders who do not want people to see this because they are making big profits from war. How I wish this will be brought to the attention of the UN, may be they can use it to show to people the negative impact of war and to show that peace on earth must be achieved.

This is his masterpiece. I don't know how he will top this but then we said that about Stranger. The three children, friends at first, are separated by the girl choosing Dimash. If you watch the scene on the beach, the older boy looks angry and the girl runs away from him towards young Dimash who then gives the amulet to his friends as a sign of eternal friendship. The boy bends his in anger so you can see the signs of what he will become. Dimash is fighting in the opposing army and realising the futility of war goes back home to rescue his pregnant wife (the girl from the beach) and child only to find his wife gone (presumably dead) and his child murdered by the opposing army. He tracks down and shoots his former friend to avenge his daughter and is killed in return. Dimash's wife is rescued by pilgrims who recognise the child she is carrying is vital for the future of humanity. He is born and is shown wearing his mother's amulet. The following scene is the child grown up. Dimash's son, who goes on to lead the various religions of the earth into unity and peace.

Yes, that was Dimash's son. Looks like all those around the birth seem to think he's the new messiah . They are portraying him as a shepherd that all of those others that died are following Dimash into the "Light" . To sum it up, the 3 friends on the beach , the boy that saved Dimash from drowning grows up to be the Piper, Dimash marries the girl and they have a daughter ( that gets killed) and his wife is pregnant. All 3 plus the daughter die, the mom appears to die giving birth, and their son is looked upon as the new savior, or a special child. This is much more than a music video, this should be shown world wide and in schools to our children

Director Alina Veripya spoke about creating the music video for the new song: the clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character, two friends linked by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in these children's story, where the boys love one girl and she chooses one. The second goes through a kind of psychological The disintegration and transformation of children's problems into an adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. When he becomes a commander, the opponent carries the idea of saving the war: the young boy who presents the tokens of friendship he made will marry the girl (Dimash). She will give birth. A baby girl (murdered) and a mother waiting for another baby. Friends were scattered, and the third friend became an enemy, friends are enemies, because of the war, It is shocking how the cry of true helplessness of a father embracing his murdered daughter is practically coupled with the cries of a woman in labor who brings a child into the traumatized world of soldier (Dimash). Lo he visto muchas veces en mi celular y mi televisor porque parece una película lo estoy viendo seguido en reacciones como la tuya y lo hago porque así lentamente voy sacando la angustia que me provoco la primera vez que lo vi pero cada vez que llego donde él está hundiendo y recuerda su niñez con su amada me derrumbó todavía no lo supero Dimash es el niño que salvan el otro niño también está enamorado de la niña y lo puedes ver cuando la mira y ve que está preocupada por el niño que salvo la niña termina siendo la esposa de Dimash y la niña y el bebé son hijos de él y el general es el niño que salvo a dimash al final se ve al bebé grande y seguido por distintas religiones .El es un hijo de la guerra . Работа всех участников съёмочной группы, музыкантов, - всё в превосходной степени. Рекомендую также посмотреть живое выступление с концерта в Алмы-Аты.Это вообще на разрыв аорты. Одного не учёл ДИМАШ : в нынешней ситуации речи диктатора хотелось бы услышать на русском языке для полноты эффекта данного мини-фильма. I definitely agree that Dimash has the correct mindset to change the world for the better, and of course there are other people too that truly want the best for this world. Sadly, there are opposites of that as well. Let's hope he can actually make a change, that this video can have an impact on enough people.
