never knew he wrote one of my favorites - Bus Stop!!

He’s written all of my favourite songs and I didn’t even know he existed until now.

What a talented and humble man.

Graham is modest but seriously look at his body of work. Practically untouchable

Saw 10CC at The Royal Albert Hall 2019 ....brilliant, took me right back to being a teen and early twenties. Thanks for these fabulous songs Graham 🙋🏽👍🏽💛

10cc was a very big part of my early 20s / Loved your guys work. A very humble talented bunch of Lads!

Wow. 'Bus Stop' is my fav Hollies song. I had no idea the 10cc guy (Graham Gouldman) wrote it. So glad I watched to whole thing. Thanks.

That and No Milk Today are so recognizably written by the same person.

Saw 10CC perform in Sydney back in February and they played Dreadlock Holiday and it was so amazing! I really wanted for them to play the full version of Feel The Benefit, but didn't expect them to as its such a long song, they did play it, and I was crying the whole 16 minutes 😭 absolutely insane experience!

So basically this guy is a genius !

People, you gotta stop calling everybody who has had a taste of success a " genius " look man, the term, thanks to the likes of you has become so overused it has lost all precision of meaning. It's as daft as saying prince Andrew, oh, he used to be a genius until he got caught. Choose your words carefully dude. Peace out man, GD. Oh and by the way, I am a genius.

Graham Gouldman...one of the all time greats.

travelling by truck to Luxembourg from the UK in 1978 my radio /cassette broke down and would only play Dreadlock Holiday i must have head it a 1000 times that week it is still playing around in my head had another driver with with me and we still talk about every time i see him about twice a year, great song as well, i travel to the west Indies a lot and it i hear it still, although i do have a good time on the Islands i go to

One of the most brilliant song writers ever, and we ask you random people on the streat, it is doubtful they ever heard from him. I am proud I had the honor to shake his hand one time.

Graham Gouldman is the most Gentleman-esque Musician I've ever met. Twice as it happen. Once when I was 11 and again when I was 35...

He wrote those songs For Your Love, Bus Stop, No Milk Today when he was still a teenager

Dreadlock Holiday is one of those songs that somehow grabbed me from the first chord and it's never let go. Has always been one of my favourite songs

10CC - Those guys were all incredibly talented. Should've been considered all time greats. Love them

Shit, this guy's a genius. I love No Milk Today, it stands out as completely different.

In Feb 19, 1986, I played this on In the Groove on Yuva Vani, All India Radio, New Delhi. This week, I was listening to this album in my car!

Just love Graham . This story is great and let’s you in on how songs get written. 10cc we’re a unique band and worth digging into. Very catchy songs. Very clever lads in all. Many thanks for the video. Very enjoyable to watch. See Graham when ever you can or 10cc. Cheers.

This guy is where it's at. Dreadlock Holiday was his swansong and very underrated. The chord sequence on that song is superb.

Some of the most talented guys ever. All of them.

Blimey who would has ever guessed he wrote all those songs but if I had written them I’d give them all up to just have written I’m not in love. That is one of the best songs from the entire history of songs.

Graham Gouldman truly one of my favourite musicians before 10 cc and after Wax and still one of my favourites.

I'm envious of his song writing abilities but admire him very much.

I can sing most Hollies songs from beginning to end. Now, in 2020, I know who wrote some of them. You live and learn!

True story- "I'm not in Love" started out with a reggae beat before it was finaly recorded with that somber tone. These guys could play virtually anything!

I love Graham's songs--many are in minor keys...moody and lovely. Heart Full of Soul is one of my faves.

There's a great documentary on 10cc done recently, and they're instrumental in being behind such things as mtv style video hits and a load of songs for others as well. Definitely a hall of fame band.

Graham Gouldman deserves much respect! Love all of his music.

He's up there with the Beatles, Ray and Dave Davies and the Stones, brilliant songwriter, as are many current and ex 10cc members.

Another Albert Hammond wrote some incredible songs, it’s amazing how these gifted people just seem to amaze us. Don’t get the credit they deserve. I’m pretty much up on music and didn’t realise this guy wrote these classics. Thanks

One Of My 3 Favorites By 10CC.

He was spot on about the original lineup of 10CC, the original band had the most unique, yet the most fragile chemistry. One misstep could end it. But Graham and Eric were career musicians who knew that 10CC needed to take the next step to make the world stage.

So understated without being falsely modest. 10cc a truly great band.

Dreadlock holiday is still used on tv from time to time to promote cricket in Australia.

Amazing! Interesting! And beyond Creative !

Heard it for the first time on a bargain bin cut out tape that cost $2.99. It was just a catchy tune that I couldn't get out of my head. Never knew this guy wrote some of my favorite tunes for other bands. I guess it was a British Hitsville thing.

WHAT i FIND ASTONISHING, IS THE WAY MANY OF THE BIG HITS OF THE 60'S AND 70'S (AT LEAST) CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO A SURPRISINGLY SMALL GROUP OF WRITER'S, WHO WERE MEMBER'S OF FAMOUS BANDS. THEY GENEROUSLY JUST GAVE GREAT SONGS TO THEIR PALS, EVEN LENNON AND MACARTNY DID IT. I WISH THEY COULD RIGHT LIKE THAT TODAY.

Gouldman's is a songwriting genius. Today's songwriters are anything but!

I've believed for years that 10CC was the backing band on Beach Baby by The First Class. Graham Gouldman denied it vehemently via his manager but it sounds just like them, especially the background vocals. Both acts were signed to UK Records too - coincidence?

Some great sixties hits there, I remember them well.

Gouldman also wrote Heart Full of Soul (Yardbirds), Listen People (Herman's Hermits), and East West (Herman's Hermits).

I remember Mr.Graham singing in Wax : Right Between the Yes , else of the 10 CC .

Who did the famous strut in the video? I've tried to copy it but I just can't get it right. Loved Bus top, and my fav from Hermits Herman is My Reservation. 10 CC was one of my favorite bands in High School.

Honestly, the stuff he wrote... They should have stuck to one style and released all this stuff by themselves. It's amazing stuff. Bus stop especially is a work of genius.

@ The Rolling Troll. I notice that the hit performers of Graham's songs shown here (The Hollies, Herman's Hermits) were young and sang in a fairly high vocal register (tenor ?). I think these voices really boosted his songs. (Not so much The Yardbirds and "For Your Love".) I was thinking Graham's own voice in his youth may have sat lower.
