If someone wants to know what happened there. Lasha was preparing to reach his peak in April and was planning to lift 500 kg total. Then championship moved to May (he lost his shape). In the training he lifted 260 like nothing , then on the second attempt of 260 kg he missed it because as he said it appeared very light for him and didn't control correctly. Then on the third attempt Giorgi Asanidze told him not to lift, but he still went and got a big injury at the left leg muscule. Also he had problems with his heart and had to lost 20 kg of weight. In short period he was able to recover thanks to doctors and still won the european championships. Sorry for my english

His coach has a very hard decision now. Because they chose to delay his 500kg lift. He is now presented with problems due to age and hereditary. I wonder what he is going to do

@@ZachGatesHere That’s sadly the toll you pay for all those PEDs. Not suggesting that he’s only doing so well because of them. But everybody does use them and everybody sooner or later pays the price for it.
I feel sorry about Lasha, is hard to see him stuggling with weights that before he lifted with no problem, Hope he recover completely in the next competitions, King lasha for many years more 💪🏻

The women's weightlifting TOTAL doesn't come anywhere near Lasha's C&J till we reach the 76 kg weight class for women.😯

Its stupid to be able to get a junior WR but not a masters WR in the same event.
Походу 500 мы не увидим...уже второе и очень не уверенное выступление...легкие для себя веса идут с трудом.

У Лаши спад, 175 кг личный вес, сердце уже не тянет, 493 кг в сумме уже вряд ли перебъет, а вот Вараздат Лалаян в рывке может и больше 215 кг рвануть, запас виден до 220кг

Huh? A master lifter can't set a masters record unless it's in a masters event? What nonsense is that? Youth and junior lifters are setting records in senior events all the time...

All the "best", with all gaining strength, and nobody's flunked a drug test before this meet? Answer: Everybody's on a new drug regimen AND the testing is suspect. I can't bring myself to watch this farce.
Minasyan’s right arm buckled on his 210 snatch, and the commentator said it was “brilliant”. But I’ve heard the same guy criticize lifters for similar issues where the lift was rejected. Why was this lift considered clean? Just wondering. These guys are ridiculously strong lol

Because there's no motive for these western dogs to criticize an Armenian. If it was a Chinese or Iranian lifter, the commentators would be creaming their pants, ready to write a 10 paged essay on why the lift was nO gOod.
