107 Facts about 2 Stupid Dogs.

You see? *_THIS_* is the kind of character development that makes a show good. Beast Boy was goofy, not annoying, and Cyborg was smart and capable, not his partner in crime. Robin was the cool leader, not the eccentric micromanager with an obsessive creepy crush on Star. Starfire was the lovable friendly alien girl, not quite understanding certain Earth situations, but not a complete overdramatic airhead. And Raven was the mysterious girl everyone wanted to know more about, not the stereotypical angsty teen that secretly loves cute things. Even Terra was the new girl who got caught up in a mess and ended up being bad, not the person who was just bad from the start and never had any personal feelings for the Titans. Everybody had character and were much deeper than they let on, they weren't just dumb, reckless comic relief made for a generation of kids who are so watered down by technology, creators need to put in a fart sound every second for their eyes to stay on the screen. (Note: I'm not bashing shows with fart sounds because sometimes, it's funny. But if you're one of these kids, 1. What are you doing on KZread, 2. You don't know what you've missed, and 3. Sorry to say, you have become less attentive because you get phones at 5. This is just a rant.)

I knew the original teen titans (I’m 9) for a long time now but I didn’t watch it until now and I love it ever since and ya teen titans go is kinda too goofy

I respectfully disagree. I do agree it was probably a niche TV series at the least and that the creators seemed to have lost respect for their own work after Season 4. But remember the TV series was targeted to kids. Gaining popularity from teens and adults was unintended. And the best part is, the show has no episode that is definitively bad. Every list of best episodes of Teen Titans I see on the Internet is very different. Same is true for bad episodes. Although it's a double edged sword because that means no episode is definitively good. If there was, probably The End pts 1, 2, and 3 is the best. But ultimately, the definitive best and worst episodes are what's rated highest and lowest. I consider Date With Destiny as one of my most favorite episodes, yet someone else believes it's the worst. I think it's good that the opinions of quality are so different for each episode because that means the quality is purely subjective, therefore can't be objectively good or bad. Even Teen Titans at its weakest is still watchable at the very least. If you can't get into the episodes, you won't get into the whole series. Since Starfire is my favorite and Starfire and Robin in this series are my favorite couple in all of fiction. It's a no-brainer for me to love every episode that focuses on Starfire and Robin's relationship. That also means the Series Finale. I'm very biased about those 5 episodes and the Series Finale for those reasons alone. Episodes with Starfire as the main character are the weaker episodes, but I really like Troq (mainly because of what Starfire says in the end), Snowblind, How Long is Forever? (which is considered one of the best episodes in the series), and the 6 others (that also make Robin a main character) I mentioned. If what I said hasn't at least got you thinking, then I'll just assume the show meant almost nothing to you.

"Batman was mentioned in the series" ... He's never shown yes, but at least point has Robin saying "I already have a father" and then showing bats fly off, if memory serves it's when Slade tries to win him over early on in their relationship. So yes, he's not directly mentioned or shown, but it's made clear to ANYONE who knows that Batman and Robin work together.

When Robin became Slade's apprentice Slade said something along the lines of "Think of me as a father" and then as you said, Robin says he has a father, we see the bats and if memory serves they play a musical score from Batman the Animated Series as we watch the bats fly off

Also, if I remember clearly, at one point when robin was stealing for Slade, he stole something from a Wayne enterprises building. (Batmans real name is Bruce Wayne, and that was his building)

"Slade was never unmasked" Yeah but we do know who he is. He's Slade Wilson, aka Desthstroke. They just couldn't use Deathstroke in a kids show. Also while Cyborg didn't have any relationships, he did have some flirtation with Jynx

Actually, cyborg had a whole relationship off screen according to the comic book "teen titans go!" Which is apparently canon to the story. The only reason why jinx moved onto kid flash was because cyborg was dating another girl which she didn't know about but eventually figured out on Valentine's Day.

Cyborg was the only one to not be teased as having a love interest??? Did you even watch the show? He was obviously tapping that bumble bee booty

the main reason that slade didn't taunt starfire and cyborg was because the writers ran out of time and then the show was canceled. I read in an interview that if they hadn't canceled the show then they would have had slade return and had two arcs with him. one would be him taunting starfire and the other would be him taunting cyborg judt like he had done with robin beast boy and raven

Fact number 71 is not correct. While is true that Robin never mentions Batman in the series, in Season 1 first two parter Slade says something in the lines of that he's now Robin's mentor and Robin says that he only sees one man as his true mentor and then the scene fades while the theme song of Batman: The Animated Series was played in the background.

72 is very much false. Cyborg got paired with Jinx, that medieval chief person from when he went back in time, and that random soap opera woman on the Freakshow episode

Introduced this show to my 3 siblings and cousin last week and they were so amazed by how awesome the original is compared to TTGo! My sister even begged to watch it on my stepmother's laptop at least one episode a day. I finally feel like I did something useful in the world;D

Personally I never got any couple vibes from beast boy and raven. They just seemed like friends. Beast boys love interest was definitely terra

Beast boy and terra never dated lol. They went on one date, and never kissed. Beast boy and raven were written as a married couple, hence their bantering comes with deep affectionate ties, behind their personality clashes. Just because it isn't obvious like robstar, doesn't mean the romantic undertones between them weren't there. Even Greg cipes and Tara strong, voice actors for Beast Boy and Raven, shipped those 2 characters. Beast boy crushed on terra, but they never had any built up rapport, it was just a love at first sight crush, that ultimately failed. And if you really look at how she was written, she was never meant to last with him. She was under developed, and her sole purpose was to give Beast Boy depth as a character. Hence why he let her go in the series finale. For beast boy to mature, and realize he can't have her, and accepts it for what it is. While beast boy and raven, developed affectionate ties towards each other. Following mythical lores like beauty and the beast, and even having episodes dedicated to both of them. The vibes were there, you just have to pay attention.

Ty Justo This Show really isn’t that Childish anymore when you compare it to Teen Titans Go. I would say like The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels it can be for people of all ages to watch. Seriously. Watch Teen Titans Go, then watch an episode of Teen Titans. There is a Big Difference and this Show is way more Mature than Teen Titans Go is. There are Rumors that a Season 6 might be made. So if any of you were Kids like I was or Teenagers when this Show first aired and you’re Adults now and still Love this Show. Get Excited because a Season 6 might be made and could be Darker than even Season 4 if it airs on Adult Swim. This Show is not that kiddish anymore. Watch an episode of Teen Titans Go, then watch an episode of Teen Titans. Then you will see why people still want this Show to be finished. Back in 2006 it ended with a Massive Cliffhanger. Hopefully if a Season 6 actually does get made we get some closure and no Cliffhanger. And Trouble in Tokyo really didn’t solve the Cliffhanger in “Things Change”. I hope the Show actually does get rebooted for a Season 6.

True Star Wars Fan Yeah I'm still a fan, actually a bigger fan now. This show came out when i was 7, and I stopped watching cartoons shortly after it got cancelled. As a kid, I ain't care too much about romanticism because I was a guy that ain't understand romance. Now grown up at 22, with all the relationships I've been through, and the interaction patterns I've noticed, I recently seen how close raven and beast boy are, way closer then he was with Terra. Unlike Terra, Raven and Beast Boy built a really close bond over time, and showed loyalty as time passed. His WereBeast form is an obvious hint that he has deep feelings for her, and even in Nevermore and Spellbound, Raven shows to take Beast Boys opinion of her to heart. Hence when he called her creepy, it hurt her pretty bad, but that's because she cares about what he thinks of her the most. Or her timid side focusing only on what beast boy said to her. Ever since I rewatched the series, their relationship stucc out to me the most, it's a much closer bond then robstar imo. And I've heard about the rumors, and Tara strong tweet regarding it's return. All I can say is just wait and hope. I can't say that I'm not excited, but I'm tampering my expectations until I hear an announcement

I really can't believe anyone looked at this series and thought: "lets do this again, but dumber".

Three times, actually. A Wayne Industries building is Robin’s target in Apprentice after Slade forced him to steal from it. In the same arc, he says “i already have a father.” and bats fly over him. Later on when they show an origin of how the Titans met, Robin emerges from the shadows to stop a crook just after bats fly out of the darkness. The criminal also says “This isn’t your town! Aren’t you supposed to be with...?” Gotham city is also mentioned in the first episode. 😁

The part where "Slade was never unmasked" and the theories they gave made me realize that not enough homework was done for that fact. Slade is Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke, they just didn't want the word "death" in a show that aired on a kid's network.

I did not become a regular watcher of news in the Western Superhero community until college, but I remember waiting until Friday/Saturday nights every week to watch this show as a pre-teen. Raven was always my favorite, but each of the five members have something to love about them, especially Phil Lamar's Cyborg giving us the iconic phrase "Booyah!"

Couple of extra facts~ Robin's parents were shown briefly falling to their deaths were shown in the episode where Robin went crazy, thinking he could see Slade. This is where Raven possessed him to see if she could see him through his eyes. On top of that, in the episode where Starfire is in the future, she finds Robin's new persona, Nightwing.

my best friend and I were obsessed with Teen Titans when we were younger. We used to play it all the time. She was Raven, I was Star Fire, my sister was Black Fire, her cousin Nico was Robin and her other cousin Lauty was Beast Boy. I found it funny how Nico and I dated a couple years later haha

I love this series. It is my third favorite show of all time and it has gotten me into DC.

i grew up watching teen titans and it will forever be one of my favorite shows but honestly i love teen titans go too, it’s hilarious and it gives another outlook on the titans when they’re not busy stopping villains

Murakami's designs for the characters have become just as iconic as their comic book counterparts, to the point where I think they have become the definitive designs for a certain generation of fans. For sure some of that is familiarity, but besides that, they are just stellar designs on their own - creating an ideal mix of what specifically a teenager thinks is cool, without pandering to their audience. They're timeless. Cyborg's design in particular, I think, is the best officially produced take on the character across all mediums.

I love Raven, she is a lot like me. Also I would like to point out that the show does make 3 reference to Batman, 2 in the episode "Apprentice- part 2". The first is when slade says "Who knows, I might even become like a father to you." in reply Robin says "I already have a father," (referring to Batman). The second is when Robin and the rest of the Teen Titans fight on top of a building there is a fluorescently lit Wayne sign, and beneath that is the word 'Enterprises'. The third is in the episode "GO!" when Robin catches a criminal the criminal says "Hey aren't you supposed to be?" Robin cuts him off and says "Just moved and from now on I work alone." after that are bats flying above them.
