Ironically that's not actually true. You see brainwashing is hypnosis and real life hypnosis requires one to be able to remain calm and focused. Someone with higher intelligence could just be someone who can focus better and can absorb information better. For someone with ADD or just even just extreme trust issues, they are much harder to hypnotize. So in a sense they were unintentionally clever with it. Ofc it's just a tv show involving unrealistic brainwashing but still.

I think Alex's father was shown once when Alex got bad grades. Although it wasn't mentioned. Also sam and tim's chemistry was noticeable for me even as a child who was clueless to that sort of thing.

Try making a show like this that's good. The characters were poorly written, and so were the plots. It can happen. Lauren Faust was inspired by classic MLP to make FIM. (Classic MLP was garbage.)

@@FruityHachi Hate to break it to you but I actually watched this on Disney Channel. I live in Asia where they aired TS on Disney.

It would be so cool if Totally Spies got the Samurai Jack treatment and had a season 7 where the tone is more adult and mature and features things like blood and strong language, etc, catering to it's now grown-up audience. Considering that Andrea Baker and Jennifer Hale (idk about Alex's voice actress) have played mature roles in other instances, I could very well see this darker version of TS if Marathon were still around. And imagine Clover and Mandy having a swearing match at each other calling each other every name in the book 😛

I finished Totally spies at the start of this year. In all honesty, Season 6 is really lackluster compared to it's predecessors. After I finished Totally spies, I started Kim Possible, and I'm really liking it.

Yeah, Season 6 wasn't as good as past seasons, though I did like the second episode of the season Nine Lives despite it ignoring the continuity about Alex's cat allergies.

I look at this and I immediately remember that crossover with Martin Mystery.

I'm not going deny it I watched Totally Spies and I LOVED it❤

And like everything else, watching it in the original French voices is the best. Sam's voice is the one who doubles Sarah Michelle Gellar in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and in every other movie for that matter, as well as Ariel the Little Mermaid in French, among a lot of other cartoons and series, and Alex and Mandy's voices are the same actress who can change her voice like crazy.

This is hands down my all time favorite cartoon

You guys mention Jennifer Hale who voices Sam but don't mention that she also voices Mandy?? That amazing range we hear in a single show is what converted me to be a fan of hers! FemShep is by far my favorite of all the characters/voices she's done so far.

Honestly I always thought Sam knew several languages like she’s a straight up genius. You’d think she’d pick up on a few things with all there travels.

As a Kid I was hoping for more Totolly Spies and Martin Mystery Crossover episodes. Sadly they never happened because Martin Mystery got cancelled due to not being successful.

At least in totally spies we didn't have to see the totally spies girls wear the same clothes for every episode unlike some cartoon characters.

This was my favorite show when I was younger.

I started watching totally spies again yesterday, I miss it so much!♥

I loved the fact that you compared the spies to the powerpuff girls because it's kind of obvious like you said: blossom and Sam are both the leaders of the teams bubbles and clover are both girly girls and buttercup and Alex are both tomboys also the spies and the powerpuff girls both have the same hair colors: buttercup and Alex are both brunettes and blossom and Sam are both redheads and bubbles and clover are both blonde.

This show will be my whole childhood, even if I am a boy. Thanks for letting people know about this show, they need to watch it.

As a kid I always thought Clover was the leader for the sole reason that she wore the red suit and I was also watching Power Rangers haha

I used to love watching this show! I'm also a huge fan of the art direction. In fact, for many years (and even to this day), I wanted the team behind this show to create an animated adaption of the Super Mario series. Not only would the character design of the girls look good for Princess Peach, but there was also a small detail at the beginning of that one episode where a bunch of children where mind-controlled. The boy who tuned into the show wore a shirt that had a symbol very similar to the emblem of the Beanbean Kingdom.

This show was my jam back in the day!

Great video, it made me nostalgic, I used to watch this show a lot! I always found it weird that they never had an episode where they would show how the girls became spies, good to know that there is a whole movie of it to be watched!
