Mr. Lin - you have taught us so much. Potters will be learning from you for decades!
I think everything you do is awesome!!
It's an honour to watch such a master craftsman.Thank you.
The best ceramic demos on the internet.
I'm so glad you are showing what glazing effects one can get with oxidation firings, despite most of your videos showing reduction firings. I enjoy your descriptions which are so clear and concise and don't rely upon tossing out 'jargon'. Excellent workmanship with detailed moments of workmanship. Descriptions and communication are your best tools in your videos. I was spurred to work with sodium silicate and chattering on a very red stoneware clay to good results and I am looking forward my glaze results in a couple of months. My canvas will be red, while yours is white and the glaze colors and effects should be very interesting. Thank you for sharing your processes!
Love your glazing technique
We had a demo on teapots in our studio recently and I asked about the glazing process. No complete answers were provided, so your video is very timely for me. The special tips you provide are so very helpful. Thanks for showing the results and thanks for takeing the time to make your videos.
You always thank us for watching. I would like to than YOU for making these videos for us. I'm always learning something. I'm very happy to learn the trick about the water. I've made three teapots so far and on one of them I stopped the holes up with glaze.
Your work definitely is amazing! Thanks for sharing these beautiful work.

Your handles are incorporated so beautifully! they look amazing. It is so common to see markings around the handle parts that connect to the pot. do you have a video on how to add handles?
Beautiful...Thank You
@5:30 is an amazing tip!!!!
Thank you!
So where is the break line between the blue and the celedon in the spout? How far into the spout? Your teapots are gorgeous.
Did you say Annie's blue for the glaze? Absolutely beautiful! I've learned so much from your videos--many great tips!
thank you for the video its always amazing to watch your demos! I was wondering what kind of blue glaze did you use on your tea pot? thank you again for the video!
Parabéns!! 👏👏👏👏🇧🇷 🇧🇷
Magic
Sehr schön sehr lehrreich .schade bist du nicht in der Schweiz. Danke
You are a wonderful teacher. Thank you for all that you share. And a question: Do you have a tip for how to avoid having cracks around a handle where it is attached to the side of the pot? I'm having a lot of trouble with hairline cracks appearing, especially at the top part of the handle. I'm using slip and smoothing out with a pin tool or wood tool. Thanks!

When you dip the body of the tea pot upside down into the bucket of glaze, what keeps the glase from going into the inside of the tea pot?
thanks for all your videos, you do a great job and i m learning a lot from you. i have a question "under glaz" that you used for the top means differents oxyds juice or is it normal glaz but really thin ? encore merci beaucoup pour toutes ces géniale videos.
What brushes do you use for your work?
What is the ratio of aluminum hydrate to wax resist that you use on your rims and lids?
hi hsinchuen lin, do you always use light before dark when doing underglaze? does it make a difference? thanks Richard TMP Ceramics
how long do you let your clay set up before you trim? How can I tell when my clay is ready for trimming?
Nice pieces! What technique did you use to create those textures?

Odood19 It's called chattering. He uses it a lot, and you'll find he demonstrates it in several videos, for example number 129. I'm just seeing it on the right-hand side YT suggestions. :)
The air inside the pot.
How do you get the glaze to fully coat the inside of the sprout?

Fill the glaze all the way to the rim and pour out.
So ridiculously amazing. Pottery porn
what do you add to the wax? can you please write it to me? and explain why you add it?

Hi, he is using wax resist to keep the glaze from adhering to those areas, the areas where the lid meets the vessel cannot have glaze on it because they will stick while firing. He is most likely firing the lid on the vessel to keep the two from warping out of shape while firing as well.

he adds Alumina Hydrate so that the wax becomes powdery after glaze firing. Most times when you add regular wax resist the space you've created, (for the lid to fit into the pot) becomes smaller/tighter and lifting the lid off is very difficult. So adding alumina hydrate makes the detaching much easier
