For some strange reason, i like some colours in certain bags and not others. For example. I love etain or blue nuit in a birkin and gold or grey asphalte in a kelly, and rose pupre in a picotin. Do oher Hermes lovers have the same issue? 🤣🤷‍♀️

yes i do! there are definitely colours i prefer for different bags and sizes. Noir i wouldnt want a k28 retourne but i would want a sellier in that size (ok with k25 either style), and i would want that in a b25 not a b30. rose poupre i would only do in a k25 or k28 sellier or b25. lots of other variables for me i could go on n on... lol

Celia Butts It definitely doesn’t hurt to try. I scored my very first Birkin Noir 35 GHW TOGO after making just one shopping trip. If we hadn’t asked & showed interest, I’m sure they wouldn’t have called us a few days later. It’s the luck of the draw I guess & it depends on your SA as well. I have friends who have waited years & they spent way more than me over the course of a few years. I heard if you go to the Atlanta or new FL Hermès store... you’ll have better chances.

In Europe, in my boutique where you can put yourself on a wishlist, my sa came with pernament leather color stamples and they were noir, white, chocolate, gold, gris etain and etoupe; maybe one more but I cannot remember exactly :D

they arent permanent the others however they have been around for a very very long time that there is high odds those others can be ordered at podium hence why some of those colours you mentioned were in the category of regular colours but not technically perm. permanent means the SM doesnt need to even podium order the colours and bags will just be provided by france almost certainly guaranteed.

It would be awesome if you can do a video on the upcoming colors for 2021!

love their shoes especially Orans, so classic and i find they work well with outfits because they are a sleek silhouette. their SLGs are also great many colours to choose from

Id love a Kelly 32 in gold. I dont really like Etoupe. I have an evelyne in etain and i love that color and my kelly 28 is gris mouette, lovely dove grey but need to watch it carefully. For seasonal i liked almond green i believe it was called, beautiful greenish grey colour. Big hug from Shanghai ❤️

Purseonfleek im tall and curvey so my k28 retourne looks smaller on me so i can use it as most people would use a k25 i suppose. I have never seen a k32 or 35 in person somi can only guess 32 may be an everyday type of size for me and i just love gold colour. Gris mouette is ver special but i do have to be extra careful lol ❤️

What a helpful video! What about the classic Hermes orange color? Is that permanent? I'm thinking about getting the Picotin 18 and am open to any color. Hopefully there is no wait for that bag.

I want a warmer taupe and my SA sat down with me showed me all the colors in a box. He said August will be the new seasonal colors. The thing is, I want a Kelly Danse. I'm thinking that Hermes is only going to make them in just a few colors. I saw gold and a purple. What do you think my chances are, even if my SA really wants to offer me a Kelly Danse bag?

kelly danse is growing in popularity so they may start to produce in more permanent colours as well as the colours that seem to always stay in production (i.e. etain, craie). i would wait to see what they start producing for the next season if you are firm on the colour type you want

I notice everyone has the mini Celine to satisfy the mini trend for example mini Kelly or pouchette etc. So is the medium or large Celine face bag out of style or is the Prada saffino bag out of style the one 5 yrs ago everyone got for work?

Unfortunately, it is considered a little passé these days. I say unfortunately because it’s a bag that I really like, but I was too young to get one during its peak. That said, if you really like it, don’t let that stop you from buying one! It could end up being like the saddlebag from Dior that was considered to be REALLY out of style for an entire decade until it was recently re-introduced and their value increased by some 800% on the re-sale market. All in all, if you get one now, most people won’t really take note as to what bag you’re carrying (remember 50% of the population is men and generally speaking, their designer knowledge is limited), fashion snobs will look down their nose at you, and those with some fashion-awareness will note it, but opinions will vary among each individual in this group. Buy what you love!

Tyler totally summed it up. If you love it buy it and it could definitely have a reinvention in the future like the dior saddle bag. the prada bag is a classic for work dont think out of style it just appeals in a more specific way now i.e. work/corporate

I got a Birkin in Trench when that colour was released in 2017 and I still don’t know what to make of it! It’s a great neutral, but just not dark enough for me! 😭

yes i had a trench bag too when released and sometimes i miss it but sometimes im not sure if it would even go with everything. its an interesting neutral very yellow undertones but on the cool side.

Purseonfleek agreed and that makes it hard to carry. Also the bag is the B35 and sometimes I think it’s just too big, though I think had it been in Noir or Gold I’d have found a way to make it work. If I get another Hermes bag I think I’ll go for the Kelly in Togo sz 28

The Sound is verry Ecco’i. Not so great. I needed to turen the Sound very Munch Down
