Greetings motherfactors! Today we're heading back to 1700s America! That's right we're taking a lovely look at the American Revolution, the war that founded the United States of America. Oh, and just in time for 4th July AND the release of Hamilton: The Musical on Disney+, how about that?! This is 101 Facts About The American Revolution!

Hey Sam, here's a recipe for chicken alfredo: Ingredients Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper 12 ounces fettuccine Olive oil, for tossing 12 ounces boneless, skinless chicken breast (about 2) 1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter 2 cups heavy cream 2 pinches freshly grated nutmeg 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano 1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, and salt generously. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente (tender but still slightly firm). Drain and toss with a splash of oil. 2. Meanwhile, slice the chicken into 1/4-inch-thick strips, and lay them on a plate or a sheet of waxed paper. Season with salt and pepper. 3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of the butter. When the butter melts, raise the heat to medium-high and add the chicken in 1 layer. Cook, without moving the pieces, until the underside has browned, 1 to 2 minutes. Flip the pieces, and cook until browned and cooked through, 2 to 3 minutes more. Transfer the chicken to a medium bowl. 4. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the remaining 6 tablespoons butter. Scrape the bottom of the skillet with a wooden spoon to release any browned bits. When the butter has mostly melted, whisk in the cream and nutmeg and bring to a simmer, then cook for 2 minutes. Lower the heat to keep the sauce just warm. 5. Whisk the Parmigiano-Reggiano into the sauce. Add the chicken and cooked pasta and toss well. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot in heated bowls.

Happy ‘Merica day everyone
Chicken Alfredo recipe: In a pan over medium-high heat, melt butter, then add the chicken breast. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Cook 8-10 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked. Remove from heat and set chicken aside. In the same pan over medium heat, melt butter and add the garlic. Cook until the garlic begins to soften. Add half of the flour to the garlic and butter, stirring until incorporated. Then add the rest of the flour and stir. Pour in the milk a little bit at a time, stirring well in between, until fully incorporated and sauce begins to thicken. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil, and stir well to incorporate. Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Pour the sauce over cooked penne pasta, add the chicken and mix well. Add parsley and extra parmesan. Mix well. Enjoy!

Same thought. There are so many lazy shitty TOP 10 FACTS channels on youtube. But 101Facts, while still being a fact channel, puts effort into his vids and they are entertaining. If any fact channel deserves all the views it's 101Facts

@Molly Pattison The 4th of July is a celebration of our (America) independence from Britain as well as a seudo-celebration of the end of the Revolutionary War but it's mostly about independence from Britain. The 4th of July isn't actually the official day that we became independent but back in the day it was convenient for 1 reason or another, I can't quite remember exactly but yeah.. :D

May I just mention the trenches during the Battle of Yorktown where the Patriots kept moving their trenches forward with out the British realizing.
One mistake, you mentioned that 6 Native Indian tribe of the Iroquois Confederacy fought for England, that is incorrect. The Tuscarora and Oneida at times fought with the Americans and did scout work and actually spied for them also. The Seneca, Mohawk, Cayuga and Onondaga warriors certainly did fight with and for the British. Originally the Confederacy wanted to remain neutral and stay out of the conflict, but both Americans and British tried to get the Confederacy to join their side, and the war almost did break up the Confederacy.

Your variety and accuracy of American accents is hilariously accurate, but I don't have need of a voice over at this time. I have heard, or watched, or something, that the submarine that was deployed, although never successful at damaging any enemy vessels, the submarine did deploy a munition that exploded within the midst of a Royal Navy task force. This explosion, allegedly, had the benefit of a psychological advantage as the British were perplexed by how the explosion happened, so they proceeded more cautiously which slowed down their advances towards shore.

13:41 It makes sense that the Declaration of Independence doesn’t have the word “Independence” in it because, remember, there were Loyalists within the 13 Colonies who didn’t want independence from Britain and would’ve pissed them off if they found out, that’s why Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin worded the Declaration as it’s written

I have a great recipe for chicken Alfredo actually...it’s the best. I mean, the recipe is for the sauce, but you can put it with chicken and on fettuccini or on whatever you want. * 6 Tablespoons butter * 1 Tablespoon garlic, minced * 1/3 c minced onions * 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour * 1.5 cups heavy cream * 1.5 cups milk, any kind * ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated and at room temperature (I use Sartori brand, it’s delicious, but any high quality Parmesan or Parmesano Reggiano will work fine) * ½ cup Romano cheese, grated and at room temperature * Salt and black pepper * Parsley * Basil 1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and minced onions, cook for one minute. 2. Whisk in the flour. Gradually add the heavy cream, then the milk, whisking constantly. 3. Reduce the heat to low once the sauce begins to bubble. It will continue to thicken as it simmers. 4. Slowly sprinkle in the cheeses, continuing to whisk. 5. Drain the pasta and carefully mix it into the sauce until well incorporated. The pasta will absorb the sauce an it will get thicker still 6. Garnish with chopped parsley, and serve There you go. An actual recipe in the comments

Here's a little tidbit, some might find quizzical. At the battle that took place in Concord... with some fight across the Old North Bridge. Not to be confused with the Young South Bridge, nor with the Middle Aged Foot Path that connects the two. Actually, the Bridge for obvious reasons is only for Foot traffic. That reason being.. it is now the Really Old North Bridge, and a monument. When you cross over the bridge, and depending which way you're traveling, it will either be on the other side of the bridge, or just before you cross. Either way [this is the tidbit] Laying 1 next to the other, possibly relatively close to where they fell, are 2 graves. 1 of an Unknown American and the other to that of an Unknown Brit. It's kind of moving if you think about it
Fun fact, West Point (The US Military Academy) was supposed to be called Ft Arnold after the war had he not switched sides.

Something that you didn't know or you don't want to know, ignorance could be an option, is that Spain was the key factor for the win in The Revolutionary War. There is an article from The Massachusetts Society 'Sons of the American Revolution' ( SAR ) called ‘Spain and the Independence of The United States.’ And after reading the article it is not a surprise to know than the Spanish Commander Bernardo de Galvez has the same honour of be Honorary Citizeship of the United States like Laffayete…

slavery was almost 175 years old by 1776, but no one wanna mention that so even if the slaves fought for the union, they weren't given rights until the 1960s

They were given plenty of rights after the Civil War, which ended the practice of slavery completely in the US. I know it is hip nowadays to blame the US for every bad thing that has happened. Such bad people, I know, right?

the haitians also helped the us double in size. if the haitians wouldn’t have have fought for independence the french wouldn’t have needed money and sold the louisiana purchase for so cheap.
