Yeah it looked like speed wobble but I figured it was just the camera. I wouldn't think that he got much, if any wobble at all. That thing is so stout and the rear wheels are wide enough to prevent that I think.

Excellent designer, fabricator, and detailer ~ it's absolutely awesome. Back in 1970s, when I was in junior high, I use to make miniature 40 mph dune buggies out of junked riding lawn mowers called "REO RIDERs" (because my mom refused to let me have a dirt bike). They looked just like dune buggies, right from the factory. Changed the gearing, used the hood springs from a '63' Olds to pre-load the clutch pedal in opposite direction, and replaced the 7HP Tecumseh with a Briggs 12HP. Later version utilized a Honda 305 Dream twin cyl. If you revved it up, dumped the clutch, and leaned back in the seat it would do a wheelie for 20 yards ... if you leaned over the steering wheel it would do a smoking burnout for 20 yards. They had crappy little 2 speed gearboxes that had to be rebuilt every season. Used them for hill climbing, general trail riding, and to compete against dirt bikes at the gravel pits. Every kid in town wanted me to build em one. I became popular. Oh yeah, one other thing: The cops couldn't bust us or do anything to us, period. technically they were just riding lawn mowers.

For a spinning object you can use a photo tachometer to get its RPM, then use its radius to calculate speed at the edge. That's the use I intended. I can see with this being a video on cramming a moto engine into a dodgem car where you could take it as me using the wrong readout from the engine, though.

How do you know that this is an authentic Colin Furze video? 1- It either has fire, speed, comic weapon, or wacky house appliance involved. 2- Safety tie. 3- Loud rock songs next to low yet loud Colin. 4- A cameo of a family or friend. 5- "HAHA*HA* YES!" 6- Clouds in the sky (sue me, I live in a desert climate). 7- At some point, you act like you understand what he's saying when you have no absolutely no clue what it means. 8- Colin gets so excited, it's like he's a kid in the candy shop. 9- That 'durrin-durrin-durrin dururrun' guitar outro at the end. Check all the listed items, and you have fulfilled the task of watching an authentic Colin Furze video.

anyone else think he's not getting the most out of that engine by shifting at a low RPM?

on the first runway its so bumpy you don't want light steering hence short shift

Hey Colin, never thought your reply, i deffo agree on getting the engine tuned for peak performance, could you get it on one of those portable dynos?

Chris Readman they actually have dynos for go karts, that could easily be put on there

colinfurze i have a plan for that bumper car put a suspension or shock at the wheels so it won't be bumpy and put a new big exhaust pointed at the back and put a nitrous oxide to speed it up a notch and then lasty put a cover underneath the bumper car to avoid the water splash or rock etc. PLEASE REPLY COLINFURZE

    1) Are you 6? Nitrous? 2) The exhaust would be cooler if it came out the pole on top 3) Obviously a cover on the bottom would help, he's probably got it on a purchase list somewhere already

you need to build an under carriage so it doesnt get sandblasted under all there. Also your losing power because of the straight open loud pipes , it needs back pressure so put some mufflers on it .

You probably already know but when you combined the pipe from the headers you put back flow pressure loosing performance. Front wheel drive and rear wheel steering with rocker free wheels on the sides. Considering it's now 2020 I'm sure you have already figured it out. Great show I just subscribed and loving it already:) Keep up the great work!!!! Going through and liking everyone of them!!! PS: "Punks Not Dead!!!" :) Love the music too!!!!
