I think I’d still continue sticking to the 100ml rule just in case the airport I’m travelling back from still has that rule in place. These new 3D scanners surely aren’t going to be applied everywhere across the globe.

Just got screwed at Manchester flight transfers today. Two new bottles of perfume, unopened with receipt. Travelled through two airports with no problem but of course Manchester like to do it right. The annoyinf thing? I don't even look mozzie. Honestly, if these thick runts can't differentiate between mozzie and non mozzie they really shouldn't be employed in security.

  • @orizg

3D scanner have been around for a couple of years now without people not even knowing it. Truth is, X-Rays machines always posed a threat to film depending on the sensitivity. Nowadays nobody really uses film anymore unless you're a professional photographer. And if you are one you certainly know the risk. I believe it's very important to mention that scanners used for checked bags are usually more powerful than the ones used through security.
