Please tell me your still making videos. I like how you show us common folk the parts that work for us on our budget. Rolling Wrench is always showing us parts that he sells. What that does is make me as well as other GY6 riders feel like if we don't have his parts then we aren't doing shit. Thanks for being the normal everyday real mans go to. 💯💯✌️

Some people would say this is a over kill, but they dont look at it in the long run. Here in Georgia a 49cc doesn't require a motor cycle license. Changing ot to a 100cc will give people the power and only requires just a basic license. I have been telling people this that are looking for cheaper ways to travel around in town. Keep up the great work.

Exactly James! That is the same law for Iowa as well. I have my motorcycle license but for someone who just wants to zip around town these big bore kits are great and actually a pretty cheap option for some extra power.

Since the law won't look inside your engine why even register it? They won't. Done it on a ton of scooters. Nobody registered theirs. No one was even questioned. They gave me $300 and their scooter. I gave them back a 50MPH "50cc" scooter. To not register them was illegal, but neither is doing 35 in a 25MPH zone. Who doesn't do that? Plus the extra pep could get you out of trouble some times.

@@oscarhaynes1994 It's mainly to get away from the motorcycle licenses. It still has to be registered. As long as it is registered, you are wearing a helmet and have a regular licenses then anyone can legally ride it. Florida years ago was at 500cc without a motorcycle licenses. Im not sure if they still allow that now or not though. I think all states should allow up to 500cc without requiring a motorcycle licenses.

Hey man great video a couple things to note 1 being you don't want to go over 30 on a fresh top end rebuild until you're close to the first oil change 2nd is that if it's revving really high it's probably those yellow clutch springs you put in are sometimes way to stiff if you can't manually open the clutch all the way with your hands they're to stiff otherwise awesome content and I'm definitely subscribed for more.

I have a question for anyone reading this who knows engine stuff. But first let me say a huggeeeee thank you to Praska Boys! Someone gave us one of these 110 cc go-karts and your videos have been so valuable in helping me get it running again. The issue I'm having now is the engine just stopped. I'm tearing it apart (which has been a great bonding time with my son) and there is an issue. I'm not sure what the name of the cover is but a little square knob on it broke off. The cover is a thin aluminum one that comes off with 2 philips head screws. It is behind the flywheel and the sprocket that the starter chain goes to. Where this peg/knob was there is now a hole in the cover. I guess my question is what is this cover called and can you order one somewhere? I'm guessing you can't fix that without welding and that is well beyond my skillset. I've scoured the internet for parts diagrams to try and identify it to no avail. Thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to help!

Interesting topic, my neighbor just bought the ice bear mad dog trike. The previous owner said the fuel pump was junk with 35 miles on it. But he jerry rigged a gas can to gravity feed the carb. Replaced the fuel pump and it still didn’t have fuel. Replaced all the fuel lines and vacuum line and still no fuel flow. Then I realized the vacuum fitting on the intake manifold to run the fuel pump wasn’t making any vacuum. Couldn’t suck or blow. Pulled the manifold off to discover the fitting was plugged with silicone or some crud. Ran a drill bit thru it and that fixed it. Fuel flows, it was shipped and sold like that. Thinking he needs a 100😎 On another note…. How the heck did you bend the connecting rod? Then I saw how you rolled out of the garage.😂

Not with that kit. Even with skills at wrenching and tuning a 50mm ebay junk kit MAY get you into 35-40mph range if your lucky normally or average top end after a chaina kit install is 30-35 lol with more lowend thats it. However with good parts you could do a stroker kit (52mm big bore kit) and good cvt carb exhaust and hit the 45-55mph range depending on how you tune it. My icebear mojo pst8-50 has a 139qmb 49.5cc gy6 motor that i fully rebuilt using Narka-NGK-OKO-KOSO-NYC parts about $600 total with some discount codes i had. My trike now tops at 48mph with me 195lbs and hits 48 sooo fast the frontend lifts up on a scooter trike , trust its very impressive 👏 i tuned it for intown riding 35mph roads have that extra 10mph for passing its great 👍

MUCH better compression. But I can't figure out what bent that rod, assuming it was actually made out of some kind of metal. To turn it into a pretzel like that, the small end almost had to hit something. But what. The small end is inside the piston. Which means the piston had to hit something. If it had hit a valve, there would be a bent valve and probably at least some damage to the top of the piston, but there wasn't. Had there been a foreign object in the combustion chamber or a too long plug, there would have still been damage to the top of the piston. It was the side of the bent rod that hit the cylinder that broke the chunk out of it. That happened after the rod was already badly bent. A real puzzle, unless I am missing something. Of course who knows what the previous owner may have done. He may have replaced the piston and/or a valve and never noticed the rod. Or did see it and decided it was time to give up. And with the rod bent that bad, it would have shortened the stroke considerably. I'm amazed it had any compression at all. There must have been over an inch between the top of the piston and the head at TDC with the rod bent like that.
