    Watched this again after purchasing a1p57qm project bike (boom brand, like a rugged) and I can't wait to get into the build. This video is awesome in an auto tech built lots of performance car engine no bike motors though but I can see it's the same just way smaller scale. More i just gotta test mine apart. Doggie or what HAS to be done and then plan the build. I can't afford this compete set up but I'll probably do some of your upgrades. And buy my needed stock replacement stuff from you if I can.

I am installing a 47mm cylinder and head combo with 69mm valves in my pony 50, I'd prefer to upgrade the hardware too from the chineese bolts and studs.P.S. I'm not afraid to tap for larger diameter studs!

    Hey man, great Ruckus idea for you. Build a hybrid ruckus. A hub motor up front with regen capabilities. Change the twist throttle to two thumb throttles that can be pressed simultaneously or individually. One thumb throttle for the engine and one for the. Motor. Another thumb throttle on the left grip to activate regen. battery pack and bms under the seat. The hub motor will really give you the torque and power to merge and move around in traffic when it’s is needed. Can add to top speed when needed, and will increase the fuel mileage also. I’ve been wanting to realize these ideas for awhile but you have the resources to make it happen. It’s the best of both worlds. Would definitely be helpful on a GY6, but would really shine on the stock ruckus crowd.

    Also....is this just a stock chinese crank with stock bearings and rod or is the crank forged and with heavy duty good brand bearings and a forged crank? Seen lots of bottom ends roasted from the 171 big bores and wondering if this bottom end has been upgraded to give long lasting performance? The extra impact from the added power and compression I believe is whats bending rods on the Chinese gy6 150cc engines

    So I’m planning on buying a 50cc scooter in a couple weeks. I’m only buying 50cc so I don’t need to insure it. I weigh about 300lbs, and I’m 6’4. How much speed could I get stock? I’m planning on using it daily to and from work, less than 10 miles. I have a feeling I’ll need to do a big bore kit, but am definitely buying from you guys after seeing your videos.

    $1200.00 Sure I'll pay for that! For $0.50 more, may you put all the hardware(screws)into individual bags and label them by component?😆 When I'm ready to build a Turbo Ruckus, PROBLD will be my way to go. You do excellent vids and I've seen other YT creators into the scooter scene use PROBLD parts in real world. Living 5000+ miles West of Cali, it never snows, so it's scoot-scoot year round! It never snows in Winter/Spring it rains. So it's scoot-scoot approximately 10.80 months/yr!

    Why will a cast piston last longer ?

  • @helloish12321

    @helloish12321

    Жыл бұрын

    Forged pistons expand more when they get hot. They have to design them so that at cold start temperatures the piston is excessively small. It will slap around more until operating temp is reached. Cast doesn't expand so much when hot so the cold clearances can be designed tighter. Forged is generally only recommended for high rpm or turbo stuff. Here I would think it's mostly unnecessary.

    For longevity that doesn’t pop up as being an issue. These can last just as long or longer then a stock engine top end. Keep in mind your stock piston, cylinder and head are very low grade made in china. Our kits are top of the line materials made in Taiwan. Keep up on the maintenance and they will last a very long time. How long exactly???? That’s depends on how you treat it. But like I said that isn’t a issue that comes up.
