You can actually use a pair of pants as I life jacket. Learned it in the Naval Academy. Just tie the ends if the pants closed the dunk your head underwater and blow air up into the pant then tie it all off.

The claw part of your multi tool, is for straightening, wood boards that have naturally twisted. Mostly used by carpenters.

It's a good starter kit. Some of the items can be replaced but for a quick get home kit its good.

If there ever is an apocalypse, Taras would be the only survivor left with all his mre's, frozen food, survival kits and "gajects"😁

the tool is a wrecking bar used mostly for demolition. the jaw on it is for gripping 2×4's (and all other 2× whatevers) and twisting with a lot of leverage. they also make a 4 foot version of it

Tbh with the $1000 you can make a survival kit for 4 people that lasts 2 weeks.

The funny part is I only know what the fatmax tool it because of work it a framing gamer and that one part is to go around the 2x4 to make it straight or any adjustments

the drop cloth is to preserve the floor of the tent or as a sheet to put under your bedroll or sleeping bag . but like all things in a survival kit it has multiple other uses such as replacing a broken window or making a catch basin for collecting rain water or covering gear and on and on.

The case would be the biggest cost and honestly who would have this massive thing in a survival situation anyways? The case has wheels so you can survive at the airport I guess? That the only place your going to be able to lug that thing around In shtf. Did I hear him right "15°C sleeping bags".so like 59° F? So you can survive if it gets mildly chilly? Id rather have 4 space blankets. $50 at Walmart would make a better kit.

I was expecting Flares and possibly a VHF radio at least. I have one from West marine for $100. There was also nothing basic like fishing hooks, needle and thread, better matches, flint and steel striker etc. Everything in that box was just meh.

Found most of these on amazon. total of 476 bucks. of course, modify it to your liking for more or less. Emergency case (pelican) - 200 bucks Med kit - 60 bucks tent - 50 bucks 12 pack of MRE - 60 bucks gallon of water - 1 dollar water filter straw - 15 bucks survival hatchet, shovel, multitool - 30 bucks badass mummy sleeping bag - 40 bucks solar charger - 20 bucks

A lot of that is from Dollar Tree and that tent is $19.99 from pretty much anywhere. I would say there was MAYBE $150 worth of stuff in that box. $1,000!??!?! Someone is laughing all the way to the bank lol.
