True. And it does come with two packages of the firestarter. And it looked like he really didn't need the whole package he just dumped the rest in because he had nothing else to use it for. Also, if you keep the fire going, you only need to start it once.

This pack was much better than I expected, my only complaint would be the lack of ways to gather food. Also, I loved the energy in this video! You had just great excitement for the pack and contents. I really enjoyed the video, keep it up, Taras!

The kit was ok, the tools that came included are good, but no paracord, no fish hooks, no sewing kit....and the first aid kit was dismal, no triangular bandage !?!? No air splint ?? The kit seemed like an oversized extended stay lunch bag.

for 200 bucks they could have thrown in 2 metal sporks instead of the plastic ones. With this kit being for 2 people you should have gotten 2 of the mini water filters. Yes needed batteries too. Overall a great kit, just need to add a couple of items.

Two of these plus one of those $1000 kits makes for a great setup. In the expandable backpacks, you can add clothing, personal (feminine) hygiene items, hand-held CB radios, survival manuals, and other personal items, such as scripture or a favorite Teddy bear or something. That would give you enough for an entire family for two days. For more days, you need more food.
