Incredibly controversial decision to buy a 1080 instead of a 6600. The 1080 is 6 years old, 2-3 seasons of mining, drivers are not optimized for modern games, ngreedia will soon stop releasing drivers for the video card

@@dickdickling9389 First check out the ebay, you can get one for 150. Second, you can buy a brand new 6600 for 250 bucks with a warranty. Such an incredibly unreasonable waste of money.

1080 is comparable to 6600. If you need somerthing at that price, get a 6600 instead, because it will have bettwr driver support.
I wouldnt recommend a 1080, a 2060 is often around the same price point with similar performance and it also hasnt been mined on to death

yeah and the RTX 2060 has dlss + ray tracing+ it will receive updates for the next 5 years probably.
Great video! Thanks for putting together something that a more typical gamer could enjoy and feel proud of, and for including the peripherals in the package. Tiny note, the music levels when you were talking felt a little high. That may just be me, though.
Few thinks which doesn't make sense here. 1080p looks better on 23-24" than on 27", could save probably 30-40 bucks on that. With that said would be nicer to go with i3-12100 + RX6600 combo. That would work well with 500 or even 450W PSU.

tbh 1080p on a 27" isn't that bad especially with high refresh rates
Vids like this are what got me into building my machines in 2013, I think Austin Evan's 800 build that year was my first machine.. with a Radeon 7870 :') Keep making theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese
Seriously! Fantastic video and great choices!
Love the wallpaper, any links where I could find it?
This was a fantastic video, but I feel the benchmark section could've been cut in half when it comes to the amount of time ti took
Peripherals I would have bought used while investing into an rtx 3060 ti or 6700 XT respectively and instead of the samsung evo plus a cheaper but higher capacity ssd since in gaming it won't make no difference. But nice video.
Thank youi!
I still have my gtx 1080 FE, I can do high to ultra 1440p gaming and all i did was undervolt and overclock. Also changed the thermal paste with thermal grizzly and made a world of difference.

Amazing for $1K!!!!
The first and most important question is; What games will we play on my next build? this one run everything anywsys! The gpu in this case is 180W for power consumption and is good number. You can game with a 500 dollars tower any game in 2022. This is a gaming pc, even with an i3 the results is what we are looking for our joy, great!
Whats name of the song at 4:44?
Wish you could post links i built a way better set up for a $1000 minus key board and mouse. but make due until you can afford the non good will key board and mouse lol. but 5600x, b550 gigabyte ud, 16 gb of 3200mhz, 600w 80+ gold, 500 gb nvme, cooler master hyper 212, RTX 2060, and 30'' 1440 x 1080p ultrawide monitor for a cool $1000
Amazing video! Absolutely perfect choice of parts for a banging price to performance PC. I know @TechYesCity would be so so proud.
did it include the table tho!? THE TABLE? I am the table!
1080 is still very nice card even for 1440p and 190$ very nice I got my self a 1080 for 200$ with evga hybrid kit and it runs very nicely maxing out at 51c at max load

That's a good price point, i feel like now having more means you don't need to dig very much and just use common sense and for cheaper you already did one for 500 USD, so You Are Doing Great
1440 P ultra high settings build next 👍
I just feels weird seeing people buy a tower cooler for an i3. anything intel that is not an I7 or a K does fine with a stock cooler. I am running a 12400f, and with the stock cooler I barely go above 60. And because it has blowdown cooling it also cools the components below it.
@fajaradi1223
Жыл бұрын
Intel stock cooler is fine performance wise, but Brett decided to go for the look (black white build) in this build. Less cringy than a full blown RGB rainbow puke which kinda trending right now.
Good to see GPU prices starting to come back down to earth. I picked up my 1070 over 3 years ago for $200. 1080 for $190 seems reasonable today because card prices have been insane for so long, but the fact is that it's still high for such an old card and all GPUs are still overpriced. Can't wait to see some competition in the GPU space start bringing costs down.
Idk what country you are but where I live you can get 12100f, rx 6600, b660, 16GB 3200, 512 SSD, 650W with decent peripherals at about 850-1000 usd

Dude spends more money on a keyboard than on the PSU
the moment the i3 10100f was mentioned pairing it with 1080, I already knew it won't have a bottleneck. 10100f is so close to 7700k in performance and it's the top cpu when the 10 series are the top gpu.

Lol 1000 dollar for pc with 1080 sry that's so 2016 i have a 2070 super my is not even close to a grad
This is bs. Skip the extra fans, expensive keyboards, mouse and mousepad, headset. Get the cheapest case that has fans, and put a r5 5600 plus b550 mother and a rx6600. Its going to cost the same if you skip the bs "gaming" mouse, keyboard, mousepad, but smoke this system that he recommends.
what a shame you prefer going to the aesthetics instead of performance ! shame !!! you forgot to mention that you need extra 30$ to buy a tpm2.0 module in order to run W11.
