Isn't the amd video card (rx 6600) between 25-50% faster than nvidia's 3050 in almost every game except for those with DLSS support? There aren't even 200 games that support DLSS (well, at least not yet). But it would be a tough choice if most of the games you play are supported. Thanks for the informative guide and the final build looks very nice. Was impressive that you included everything in this $1k build (display, keyboard, headphones, etc.).

Now I’m tempted to buy another budget keyboard 😂 don’t have a red switch keyboard, might get one to try. Already have brown, black and blue over the years. the headset mic actually sounded pretty good for what it is. Perfect for chatting while gaming, and the ear cups look plush for the money. Anyway, thanks for the video.

AOC 24G2 at $170 is a much better option. it's $20 more but it offers 1ms response time, a bigger screen(24 inches), much better and premium design, and a game changing way better IPS screen. also I would ditch the DLSS for a 20-30% better performance with Rx 6600 for $50 less. I would use that extra $30 to get a better mouse and headphones.

Hello! Really enjoying the channel; it's great to see more content aimed at those of us who can't firehose money at our builds, but still want to do cool stuff. :) Thanks for this video. It's very timely for me, as a friend of mine is looking for a new monitor for his main computer, and has a budget of $300-$500. Unfortunately, I'm not super-conversant in current monitors at this price point, so I was glad to see this. He's mainly concerned about brightness (the backlight in his current LCD has been dying a slow death for a while now), and would be primarily using it for gaming and some video editing. (He wanted to do 4K, but I can't imagine how that could be done at this price tier.) If you had $300-$500 to spend on a monitor with those things in mind, what would be your upgrade over the one in the video?
