it is to apply oil to the blade if i remember correctly. human produce natural oil and it is applied to the blade lastly before shaving. i think i remember hearing that in one old school barber video. either use human skin or to be more clean leather strip.

Recording in a breeze outdoors, Shams somehow gets cleaner, crisper sounds with less background noise than lots of indoors barber videos. Nice sun-saturated colors too.

This barber is incredible, love his scissor over comb technique, I've never seen a barber do it that high before but it makes sense and blends the top in with the sides in and cuts it too in 1 pass kinda thing. Really impressive to watch

he's very skilled! To cut hair like this is harder than it looks. Barbers here have the advantage of hot water on hand and wash the clients hair pre-cut to make it easier. His hair is dusty and slightly matted, needs a nice wash. And his client has thick hair too like mine, I cut my own and it's a bastard to get it all blended together, especially considering this barber has old tools, whereas over here ppl are blessed with 10,000 rpm clippers, zero gapped trimmers and brand new razor sharp shears@@JustBrowsing777

He uses his fringer thumb for one shear blade to do it's function. Now let's consider those are really original old middle eastern or Indian techniques , like the seating positions to shave and cut hair. Prouds to the barber 💙💈❤️

By far the best haircut asmr video I’ve seen, most ones I see occasionally have certain sounds that are loud and kinda rough, but this was so clear and crisp and like no background noise which is crazy!!! Keep it up sooo nice and relaxing

I love how universal asmr is. No matter where you are in the world, people just wanna hear nice sounds

This guy shows it's about the actual quality of the work and not the aesthetics, bravo amazing job!
