Great video! So happy to see your channel continuing to grow mate, and the quality is really getting up there! Keep it up :) Fortunately(?) I have a long oval head, so my choices below $500 for a first helmet were almost just put up with severe pain after 20 mins or just wrap my head in bubble wrap and hope for the best. You're completely right- price isn't everything, but below that $200 mark you can tell they're struggling to fit profit, r&d, production, logistics, ratings, etc into that price point - they might meet the minimum requirements, but they're not very good quality. I had to go into a large store and try on around 15 helmets to find a good fit. I got an LS2 Vector helmet for about $350 Canadian that's done me well for the last 6 months. If it's still whole on it's anniversary I'll upgrade toward the more comfortable helmets before next summer hits, but at the time I also had to buy all my other gear, and insurance and mods and such ... my $5000 CB500f actually cost me around $10K in the first couple of months in gear, extrras, tinkering etc lol No ragrets!

Agv k1 are the worst feels really cheap. Id rather get the scorpion exo r420 for under 200 mark

My Scorpion EXO R410 was $84 USD on sale and is SNELL 2015 certified, has fog free face shield that pulls back and is lockable or can be opened just slightly for city traffic. The new model EXO R420 is $150 and I think the best budget helmet around. Always try on a helmet first if you can though. This one fits a bit tight overall, so my next helmet I'll definitely try on in a brick-and-mortar store first.

When it comes to helmets, it all falls to safety. I have MT Helmet, SHARP testing rated it 4/5. Helmet was 85$ and i am super satisfied with it. As SHARP testings says, it is safer than good amount of more expensive helmets
