I appreciate that you show casting and catching rather than just catching. It shows the reality of going out fishing in the summer heat. It can be misleading and discouraging when other anglers only show their catches back to back. You always portray the reality of FISHING! Thanks Lojo.

Fishing is tough in the heat. I’ve been having the best luck with a green pumpkin Senko or trick worm. But my biggest bass this summer was caught on a rage swim bait. Great video and lure options. And thanks for your service!!🇺🇸

I agree with most this kit. You can fish it from Texas to Ohio most times of the year. I’ve caught 90% of my fish this year on a Spinnerbait. White in color with gold blades. Let’s see you go on a river float in a kayak using some lighter gear. 20 miles, Camp, fish!

LOJO preach that mental health thing brother. There are still far to many people out there not receiving the help they need. It’s a serious thing and it NEVER hurts to call and check in on people in your life that you might suspect are struggling with mental health.

Backyard pond looks so good! Tough fishing but that’s how the summer goes! Have been having a lot of luck lately with the Doob Tube and snapping it up with a good hard rod jerk then letting it flutter back down to the bottom. It’s been getting nailed on the fall. Love the videos!

that pretty much sums up the perfect summer time (generally speaking) tackle box to a tee. 9.9/10 would catch fish, cause the other 0.1 is a stump or came unbuttoned

Always like the fishing kit challenges. Previous episodes gave the inspiration to assemble starting fishing kits for my daughter and her significant other who are just getting into fishing in their mid-twenties.

$100 budget is right up my alley as well. As a new guy to “serious” fishing (not just using worms on an old spincaster), I wander aisles at the store trying to figure out what will work, lol. This would take the guesswork out of it for me! HA! Summer fishing 🎣 is tough. I’ve basically have been using the Texas and Wacky rig here in S Illinois this summer. The Mondo worm and the Yum Dinger bubblegum Swirl has been doing the best work. Great 👍🏽 job in 112°

My favorite summer time lure or it can really be used all year round in stained water is a fire n ice colored 7.5 inch curly tail worm from culprit and throw it on a quarter oz Texas rig. This thing has absolutely been nailing the bass for me all summer long. I like to pitch it around docks, rocks, up against sea walls, around stumps , brush piles, and skip it under docks and boats if I can. In clear water my favorite summer bait is either a wacky style watermelon red senko or Texas rigged green pumpkin or watermelon red senko. Flukes also are great summer baits and can also perform well on dropshot rigs in summer and winter when bass are lethargic.
