yea it looks like a good system, but all it takes is some hot chick to act like she likes you. Then when ever she rides with you, she watch you punch in your code or the thief get a copy of how to reset your code if you forgot your code lol. or they a thief way tow the car or they use a gun to rob you.

@sfinest82 no for real. that's 1 way a thief would beat the system. Never depend on just stock production. there are females that would observe the owners who have a system like that, watch him do the code and take a picture of license plate and sell the code to a thief.

Absolutely amazing video, thanks guys. My Tundra was broken into 2 DAYS after purchase. Based on the evidence, Toronto police said it was highly likely that Toyota dealership employees were working as insiders for the thieves. Once I get my truck back, I will be installing this for sure.

They have the same thing already called the Viper Car Security. is uses the same technique to arm the car with randoms buttons.

Hi Sonduren. I finally got Igla installed on my NX350h. The one thing that bothers me is that the installers said only 4 buttons or digits work in my car as a pin for some reason. I think that limits it's protective power. I was expecting to use at least a 6 digit pin. I wish I could call a customer service number to talk about this. I don't know if it's a software limitation of the product or that it doesn't mesh well with my 2024 NX or that the installers are limited with their knowledge base. How many digits do you use?

BTW: The Ghost system has been around for a lot longer than this product and operates similarly.

werent we told to leave your car keys on the porch so Mr. Criminal can take the car ? now they will have to come into my home and threaten /hurt me to get the code?

Does this device work against CANBus attacks? Anything attached to the CANBUS anywhere along the wiring 4:52 is ineffective vs. “Emergency Toyota Starters” or “Canbus hacks” as they’re sold for sending a signal to the vehicle operating systems I was told.

Only the valet fob that came in the box will work. It's not a universal fob

What about a manual transmission

If your IGLA valet chip is on your key fob can it be cloned if nearby e.g. car is parked in the driveway and keys in the house?

Probably wouldn't be able to but even say it does it still can't be put into drive or reverse so the car can't be driven away only towed away.

kill switch is fairly easy to find as it is in Drivers reach area, this can be mounted in can line and hidden in the trunk for example

I like this security system, but my point would be, how does the thief know if the car has a ghost immobilizer or a kill switch..? If the car doesn't start, very likely the thief could give up...

@@rosandpl I guess if you assume a kill switch would be near the driver, hopefully so would a thief. We used to mount them in the wheel well.

Congratulation for this video ! I have the new RX500h, I bought it from Germany from a dealer like used one (1000 km miles) with this anti thief system installed! My problem is that I don’t know the code , I have only that extra remote near the key so when the battery is low I have to use the Code (that I don’t know) The lexus dealer from Romania isn’t even close to solve my problem so I am following you maybe you can give the sollution of resetting the code ! Much appreciate your help ! Maybe also some of the Lexus lovers who are here can give me tips for this. 😊

I think this system allows you to set it up so the thief can drive away but only gets a few blocks away before it starts to shut down? Also it has a carjack setting so if your door opens while you have started the car it knows the driver is a thief. The thief can drive off but shuts down a few blocks away. This is what you want (a delay) because the thief will know you have something installed and then it will be YOU that the thief targets for the code.

A theif will always figure it out it has yet to fail now we hope they don't but they normally do.With all that being stated this does look good we need it here in Jersey

big deal my 1996 Peugeot 406 had that as standard

But also put a plate in your gearshift so theif can't put car in neutral and roll your car away
