Did you tried the reset option ?

The last method seems to be working for me, I have all my files and nothing was deleted apart from some apps and data that didn’t come with the PC as standard, thank you very much for your help.

i’m doing the last thing. it’s been about 3 minutes now since it’s been 100%, now it’s showing installing windows “this could take awhile” do not turn it off”, is this meaning it’s working and restarting the pc, and it’ll launch normal ?

Unfortunately it didn’t work for me. What I did is remove the hard disk from my laptop and transfer the files to other hdd and reformat my laptop. Now I am using external hdd with my files that was transferred from my laptop.

My version of this issue is any loading screen that has the spinning dots will automatically freeze the screen meaning any reset is impossible for me because it just freezes, I’ve tried everything and my PC won’t startup because it keeps freezing before I get to the normal enter password screen. Hi, I don't see some of these options at the troubleshooting stage. It doesn't give me a option to reset pc or delete anything I have an Asus windows 10 Advanced Options: startup repair, command prompt, Uninstall updates, uefi firmware settings, system restore, system image recovery. And I have tried all and they all don't work

Hey bro I tried the second one, now it's stuck in the startup screen (for example I have a MSI board so it just shows the MSI logo) and the keyboard and mouse won't work? Can't really do anything atm

It tells me to put admin password, but i factory reset so why does my pc have admin? Also i tried all the passwords i knew but it said they where all wrong, the only thing i can do is reset my pc, but that doesnt fix it

i tried this and it did not work when i went to reset pc the msg says the program files and windows directories need to be on the same drive, i have vpn installed from the company iwork on from home so i dont know if thats causing the issue

This guy knows what he’s talking about. We followed the tutorial and it saved us from having to take it to a shop.

Try replacing the c: with a (d: ) so for you it would look like chkdsk /f/ r d:
