So that's where all our Canada geese went! (Joking -- We used to have a ton of these beautiful birds in our neighborhood, but I think all the recent housing construction in their habitat has caused their migratory route to adjust).

a great pleasure to witness - thank you :) loved watching the geese take off (particularly in the direction of the camera a super angle) felt the flutter of the wings in my chest. and a nice shot/clip of the fish face and blue eye underwater!

Thankyou! They really do have a lot of energy, when they are all taking off together. I was standing on a small bridge,so it was a great angle as they came towards the camera, and hearing their powerful wing beats as they passed. Happy you enjoyed 🙏

Hello, a very nice and peaceful location and in the info i read that is a lot to see during the year.My favorite is the Nightjar and in august there about 60 of them during a night count in my nature reserve and hope to film them once!! Greetings Gijs

Hello Gijs. It is a lovely location, and i was fortunate to catch the geese just before they started moving to their feeding grounds that day. The Nightjar is also my favourite. I am fortunate to have 3 pairs breeding on my woodland, arriving every year in May,and leaving in September. So during the summer months we have the amazing nocturnal churring sounds, which is wonderful to hear. 60 is an amazing number to have, how nice,i hope you will be able to film them one day(or night). Best wishes from Devon,Uk.

@@gijsvermeulen5248 I do feel very blessed to have the Nightjars,as they are quite unusual in the Uk. Fortunantly my habitat is ideal for them,as there is enough open areas, with good ground cover for them to nest in. It must be lovely having them in your area also in such numbers. I think there are quite a lot in Europe, although still hard to spot, while here we have just around 4000 breeding pairs🙂🙏
